I'm not so sure. The balance of our midfield has looked great with Lallana, Gini and Henderson and has been a key element in our excellent start to the season. It's disappointing that this will be effected, but hey, injuries are part and parcel of football.

Just to add to our midfield issues, Hendo's already on 4 yellows this season so another against United and he's suspended for 1 game.

Might end up with a trio of Can/Grujic/Lallana vs the Baggies.

Can is not as mobile and Wij. With Lallana and Wij I think we would of swamped their slow midfield.

Can played and scored against bradford this week, we won 5-0.

Don't think we can complain about injuries so far this season. We have had a few but nothing to moan about, just standard injuries that are expected to accumulate.

I like Wij but don't think we will miss him especially against Utd.

I wonder whether Hendo or Can will play deeper. They are both capable of doing both jobs.

I am praying Lallana is back. He is our key player against Utd,

I noticed loads of the better players have had no international games. Our boys are all around the world. Typical timing this. I hate international football with a passion.

Just read that Lallana is still not training.

Firmino and Couts are not back until Thursday but will need to rest after a 5000mile journey.

Utd will be loving this.

Game is on Monday though so it's all good as long as Hendo comes through tonights

Thank took internationals are done with for another few weeks or so.

A few weeks is too soon. International breaks are hated passionately by me.

They should lump all the qualifiers and friendlies together and play them a couple weeks before the tournament being qualified for.
