Well if Flogba cost £90...

It doesn't work like that though. Sanchez was £35m or whatever. Gundogan £27m. KDB £50m.

You're right it might. FSG do seem to get ridiculous fees. Still we can't put £90m on the pitch can we so let's hope we can keep him for a season or two longer.

Phils in good form and scored last night so not a surprise they decided to make an article.
Regarding gundogan being cheap hes been injured alot, sanchez was bought 2 years, de bruyne 1 year ago, prices have increased by alot more since then.

De bruyne not so much, maybe £60+, sanchez would be a similar price aswell

If he carries on this form I reckon we would be looking for £90m.

He's young and has a good few years on his contract yet.

Id like to think that if we make cl for next season that phil would atleast stay that season

To me it's not form anymore, it's consistent top class performances for club and country. It's not just that he's producing with end product with goals and assists, nearly every attack is going through him. He gives you so much when you get the ball to him, he barely loses the ball and this is despite him attempting risky moves, like threading the ball through, dribbling etc. Not only that but he's at the stage now when opposition are looking at him and making plans for him which means other players are getting space.

That is worth a lot of money, especially considering he gets better season on season and will continue to get better. With the way Barcelona play, Coutinho would slot right in. Unfortunately I think it's going to happen at the end of the season. They will use him deeper I suspect, in Iniesta's old role behind the front three. With Busquet's and possibly Rakitic behind him.

He must be on 80/90k at a guess. We need to be smart and offer him a better deal or the big Spanish duo will come in for him.

I predicted two years ago that he would leave this summer. It would be amazing to get him under a new contract though and a real statement of intent but unfortunately I can see him going to Barca.

Think Real will have this transfer ban. (Probably get overturned knowing them).

I think we will offer him a new deal and keep him for another season. We will have to put a silly price tag on him but doubt Barca will pay Pogba esq money for him.

Only issue might be his wage. I don't think he's one of the highest earners in the squad.
