I know, my boss says he wants us to get on with our work on a Monday afternoon, completely unreasonable on Derby day.
Whole site has been like that for a while.
Can't see the game until after work today. Gonna have to go into media lockdown from 3pm til about 8pm when i finally get to watch it all. Be a good pranks and tell lamcam for feck off for me

And so close to Christmas as well. Fookin scrouge your boss
I really hate these weekday games now. Used to love a good night under the flood lights, but the time difference is such a pain in the ar$e nowadays.
And I'm just awful at watching a match I've recorded, especially if things aren't going well for us.
Ok, so what's everyone's first memory of a derby?
Being a bit of an old fecker, I go back to the 86 fa cup final. Simply one of the most iconic moments of my childhood. Solidified Rush and Grobelaar as childhood heros.
The only liverpool games I recall seeing on the TV prior to this were the previous two years European Cup finals. Very distant memories of both.
But 86 is as clear as day in my mind. Back when the FA Cup was the big one. It seemed we all watched TV coverage for an entire day.

Fa cup final day used to be a full day of build up who ever was playing but when it was a derby, it was amazing.
85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91 and 92 are the granddaddies of FA cup finals.
Since then, if LFC weren't involved, I'd struggle to say who won or even played in it

Yeah 86 cup final for me too. We went next door to Adele & Ronnie's, he looked like Jim Royle, (our neighbours at the time) to watch the build up and the match. They were BS we were RS. Even though I was only 6 I remember it well.
It was a cracking match to watch with two Everton fans, not just because of the result, but for the party banter and pride in the city at the time.
My next door neighbor, even though I lived in belfast at the time was an everton fan. Big ginger tw@t he was. That 86 shirt they had with the white up top and blue body, his ma somehow washed it and the colours ran so his ended up being blue with a sky blue chest. Tw@t.
I watched the game with Dinger Bell from down the street. Was my best mate at the time despite beign a united fan as he was in love with Norman Whiteside. We both loved Saint & Greavsie
Maybe cos i havent really had any interactions with any Everton fans here in SA...the derby is not all that for me.
I understand the whole derby and its history and stuff.
Tranny news!
Liverpool are one of five European clubs interested in signing Santos midfielder Thiago Maia, sources have told ESPN Brasil.
The sources said Monaco, Schalke, Napoli and Zenit St Petersburg are the others interested in 19-year-old Maia.

Whoooooooooooo!!!
Sorry that should read, Who?
The omnipotent football whispers site ranks this a 2.1 on the whispometer. They reckon he weighs 68KG and has a 52.8% success rate in duels. handy with a musket
You should really be asking why we're interested in him when our competition is coming from small clubs like Napoli...

Injury time winners
First one since Gary Mac?
Koeman on the match tonight
"In the second half we had it more difficult. The substitutes of Liverpool had a big impact in the final result. We didn't keep the ball after the break so much. The team didn't deserve to lose the game"
brilliant stuff last night, bragging rights are ours and the crabs are in hiding!
Injury time winners are brilliant.
Kuyt in 2008 actually was the last one. Definitely sweeter this time it wasn't a penalty though.
