Yeah there's some sort of standoff there it seems. Supposedly there is some nonsense rule that requires him to go if he has been picked. If he refuses supposedly he cant play for us either.

And yeah, hendo was badly missed at Sunderland. He gets hammered unfairly imo as he isn;t as flashy or dynamic as some of the other more advanced players, but thats not the role he's charged with playing and he is the one consistently talking to the team mates around him and keeping us ticking over. Can didn't do great in subbing for him.

That Forsberg fella's agent is angling for a move....

"I can't confirm any names. But after the great first half of the season, big clubs have reached out to me," Hasan Cetinkaya said,

"RB are on a good way to become a big club, which plays in Champions League soon. In spite of that I can't promise that Emil will stay in Leipzig this winter."

Thats a damn fine question.

December 31st the transfer was rated at 1.0

Today it's at an all time high of 3.5!

And from their stats column....

FINAL THIRD ENTRIES : 68

I read today that Cameroon expect Matip to be at the ACN. I think Klopp thinks otherwise!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I read somewhere that LFC were under the impression that Matip had retired from international football.

Ah, it was in the Metro so all BS then.

Yeah how on earth would the likes of Hansen and Lawrenson at their prime cope against playing the modern day likes of John Walters and Dieumerci Mbokani?

Watching FA Cup highlights, can't believe how bad the quality was back then even 30 years ago. Liverpool of the 80s probably the best team in the world back then would struggle to stay in the Championship today.

I want to hear this argument fleshed out.

Like how would Dalgish and Rush fare against the 2016 Blackburn rearguard of Wes Brown and Gordon greer.

How easy would it be for Lee Frecklington to dominate Souness!

hanson and Lawrenseon vs Blackstock and Odemwingie.

Only one result....relegation to League One

posted on 4/1/17

So, what result tonight then?

Chelsea win and we stay 5 points ahead of 5th but a distant 8 off the top.

Spurs win and its 5 off the top and only 3 ahead of 5th.

With Manu looming also.

Feck it, draw it is then.

Manfrom

Draw all day for me.

Spurs win for me.

I fancy them as well. No way Chelsea can just keep winning, even if it's an unlucky defeat, they are due one.

Hull at home is Chelsea's only banker game in their next 6. I fancy them to go on a bit of a ropey run, but we'll see.

I dunno about a Spurs win and this Manu game is stating to worry me.We could be 5th in the blink of an eye if Spurs win today and the next round of games go against us.

Even if we drop to 5th I won't be worried.

After Man Utd then Man City will be the only ground in the top 8 home records this season that we haven't visited.

Form isn't permanent and fixture schedule does play a part.

Yes, but so does confidence. If we start to slide, we have these injuries, players missing to Afcon or potential Afcon related bans, we see the other teams stretching their legs, it could be damaging to us.

Feck that fecking sunderland result has pi$$ed me off rightly

posted on 4/1/17

Well everyone thought our confidence was shot a month ago and then we won 4 on the spin and kept 3 clean sheets too.

I don't this team is about to give up just because we might lose at Old Trafford (I don't actually think we will, but again we'll see).

Klopp is a very experienced manager and will manage the season accordingly.

We are not even in bad form and people are acting like we are because of 1 draw.
