Surely we aren't dumb enough to weaken our squad right now.

After the mess thats been january, if anything we should be going hammer and tongs to bring in at least one player who can challenge for a starting role.

I rate Sturridge as we all know I'm sure but if West Ham came in with £25m or something I reckon the board would take it considering we only have 16 games left this season.

Its the fact that we only have 16 games left that should mean we aren't looking to sell. After such a disastrous month, the last thing we need to do is sell a decent player. How would that impact the moral of the team? It'd look like we've thrown in the towel.

I don't think it would effect moral too much really. It's just football and transfers happen. Might even do moral good for all we know!

Like I say I can see the board (and even Klopp) accepting £25m all things considered.

Plus that fat wage gone as well.

Id rather we kept him til the summer atleast, will studge want to go to west ham anyway

If Sturridge scores one crucial goal that wins us one game, it's worth keeping him. Getting top four is far more important than getting 25m for him now.

And who knows, he might just find his mojo again.....

I agree with Robbing that if we did get £25m offered we may well take it.

16 games with basically Firmino and Origi to pick from for 1 position.

Chelsea have played all season with only Costa and Batsuayi for 1 position.

Played out of position or not, Firmino's been pretty dire for a while, and Origi no better. Not really comparable to having Costa available to you.

I'd rather have three strikers available, hoping one of them finds some form. I couldn't give two hoots about making money off one of them.
