Kovacic Rumours really picking up now, some saying Inter have agreed to sell to us for £17m. Brilliant if true but I don't believe it.

Safe to say Inter fans don't want to lose him, they have set up an online petition to protest against the sale of another promising playmaker to Liverpool.

Yeah I have seen £17m accepted and now just sorting out terms.

I know absolutely nothing about him.

Coates actually did very well backend of last season in helping Sunderland stay up. Good move for him as he needs to play.

£4m for Coates is decent considering he hasn't played much in about 3 years.

Don't know anything about this Gomez lad.

Thought we would get next to nothing for Coates considering as you say he's barely had a game. His decent form at the end of the season has earnt us a bit of cash as surely without it we would have been stuck with him.

Just watched a bit of Kovacic on YouTube (I know).

He does seem a more deeper/central version of Coutinho and Croatia have produced some fine midfielders over the years and present.

I have read on some rumours site that we have an agreement for Kova but that Inter are still encouraging others, including Arsenal to bid. Apparently Inter have been irritated by our modus operandi and Kova's agent is very unhappy with us.

Sky confirming this Gomez stuff now.

Kovacic looks amazing on youtube, then again most players do.

Because once wasn't enough

. T1 is on a rampage last few days. I felt the wrath the other day for suggesting Skrtel was our best defender. Gomez would be a good signing. Eventually Skrtel will be gone and we need a talented young player to learn from him to eventually take his place.

Sold probably. Doesn't seem to be fancied.

i know most seem dissapointed by our window so far, but gomez would be another positive addition.

net gain of 500k, less wages and more time to fulfil his potential than coates, who if we are being honest has probably left it a bit late to kick on from that great copa america(?) that he had
