Been on holiday, did I miss anything other than the underwhelming Bogdan signing?

I know its just for back up but it doesn't seem much of an improvement on Jones to me.

27 and has only played 100 odd career games. Similar sort of age and record Jones had when we signed him.

Being free is the major advantage it seems. Lets hope Mignolet doesn't get injured or dropped again!

I suppose we couldn't really expect much better as a back up keeper but I would rather a young keeper with potential.

Bogdan was keeping that Finnish keeper who I can't spell out of the Bolton side when they were in the Premier League, so he must have something about him. Jussi was a very good keeper. Anyhow he's much better than Jones so I'm good with it. No point spending money on a backup keeper. We've got three signings done early, we now need to try bring in some quality players for higher fees.

He's 27 TOOR and has played 100 games, mostly at Championship level.

Jones was 28 and had played about 80 games, mostly at Championship level.

If that doesn't class as 'similar', then I am afraid you don't understand what the word means.

1man, I know 27 isn't old for a keeper, but it's not young potential either.

All the top keepers are well known by 23-24.
