On one hand I can see that getting boggy (that's his new nickname by the way) on a free is a good deal, he can't be worse than jones and will be hungry to do well.

On the other hand I'm thinking "why hav'nt we try'd to get keeper in who could take the shirt from Mignolet.

At least Bogdan dives towards shots that are heading into the goal in order to try save them. Baffling how anyone can say he's not an upgrade on Jones in this regard.

On a side note as well Ings looked very sharp last night for the u21s, worth watching him at this summers tournament.

What was it on? Looked at the fixtures and couldn't see anything for the u21's

Glad he looked sharp though, seeing as he's 22

He's very quick over the ground isn't he? Never gives up on a loose ball and should have got a goal but the keeper got a hand to it.

He showed more commitment and hunger in 35 mins for the u21's than Balotelli did all season.

i take it Kane will be starting for the u21's and ings on the bench.

That or Ings could get the nod ahead of Pritchard into a 4-3-3, will see.
