This is definitely the last move for at least 20 years. Then it'll be a case of giving toddlerfrom the heave-ho and is grabbing a nice wee retirement condo by the sea

I’ve moved 25 times and it’s a nightmare
I moved out my last place and had to get a 2 week Airbnb before I could move into my new place on the 2nd so next week. Just beeen told the woman moving out has pulled out so we are now homeless unless we find a place before Tuesday. No stress at all

Driving at 45mph on a 70mph road is incredibly dangerous.

Well it's not a 70mph road. 70mph is the maximum speed. It's more dangerous to allow a beginner to drive 70mph on a road they have little experience of.

Sorry TOOR driving 35mph below the speed limit is dangerous. Basically causes an obstruction in one lane. Wouldn't ever work in England as our roads are so busy.

It isn't dangerous, in fact most times people are overtaking others in the inside lane is because they're driving around that speed, coming off into slip roads or being old women. I think you'll find that accidents are drastically reduced with this in place compared to England, in regards to first year drivers.
Driving in the inside lane at 45mph isn't dangerous one bit. That's the whole point of it. Letting an inexperienced driver crack it up to 70 is without doubt dangerous.
It doesn't cause an obstruction, it just keeps them to the inside lane which you can overtake of you please.

Well it depends how many lanes really. 3 or 4 lanes and you get away with it.

That's slightly different though. Also, why are you moving out until you have exchanged with the place you are moving to?! I get that you are put under pressure if you are in a chain but there is no way I'm moving until I get the contracts moving into the new place.

Same deal here. Moving into the new place on Tuesday. Deposits are paid and purchase and sale co tracts signed so there's no problem.
Just means I can take the proceeds of the sale of my present house and use them for a large down payment on the the place.
So until Tuesday its a hotel, room service, nice pool etc

Well that isn't true. I drive on the motorway ever day and maybe see a couple a year going that slowly, which if they were, they would be pulled over by the police for dangerous driving. You may get people doing 60, 55 at very, very worst. Even coming off at junctions you would very rarely slow down to 45 on the actual motorway.
If it is a known law somewhere though, it is different. You factor it in to the way you drive.

Well that isn't true. I drive on the motorway ever day and maybe see a couple a year going that slowly, which if they were, they would be pulled over by the police for dangerous driving.
