Yeah I agree that a nice playmaker is needed for the middle. When Trent & Robertson are having an off game, we just struggle to create. The current tactics are great and have brought us a long way and some titles too but we need to evolve as we go along or at the very least give us some options.
PS. Keita is not that option.
We'll win the league no doubt and this side will be instant legends. They deserve nothing less.
As I mentioned yesterday I dont get this Klopp fascination of playing Origi on left. Hes always looked poor on left. The games when he had the middle he produced like:
Barca home
Arsenal home
Everton home

Last night was always going to happen, Klopp has complete disdain for the domestic cups.
That's just the way it is
Pick it up against Bournemouth and it will be fine

We need to pick it up against them though.
No concerns but its very easy to get into a slump.
Think my favourite reaction to last night is TVJ saying he doesn't see where our 4 wins needed to win the league are going to come from
Origi is a difficult one. Given us some great moments the last 18 months but he's not good enough really.
Think it's a case of Klopp telling Origi he's likely to get less gametime with Werner likely coming in and then letting the player decide whether he wants to stay as a squad player or move on. Think we'll get very good money for him if he does.
That was a bitter defeat last night.
I think it's time we all accepted that we won't win a domestic cup under Klopp. Even when the league is all but won and we play Chelsea away we had no Allisson, TAA, Salah, Firmino etc and a midfield consisting of Lallana and Jones.
Really frustrating.
I know I'm extremely late to the party but Banshee for what it's worth is actually a really cool series. Over-the-top action scenes with simple over-the-top storylines.
It's so ridiculous, it's good. I just know Manfrom will enjoy it.

Don't think we'll never win one. We likely would have been in the final last Sunday had we not needed to play our U/23s against Villa.

Potentially, but we still played weak teams before the U23s were played against villa from memory.

Don't disagree with that, the League Cup situation was unfortunate.
Doesn't detract from my original point though.
The team we put out last night should have beaten Chelsea.Chelsea even lost 2 of there best players to injury during the game with the likes of Tammy, CHO, Pulisic, Timori and Kante injured.
Klopp team last night should have beaten them. That is the simple fact.

Probably right. But we'd have a much better chance playing our best team.
I dunno, I think Chelsea have given us our hardest games this season and if they go a goal up rarely lose (one from thirty this season).
Play Alisson and Salah and we go through imo. They killed us down our right.
Adrian career was summed up yesterday. Made 3 great saved with the Giroud one probably the save of the season but then does a Karius for Willian goal.
He always has had a mistake in him unfortunately.

Starting to think that's true of every single goalkeeper, aside of Alisson.

Do feel bad for him though, that ball should never have been played in front of the box. There were two errors there tbh.
I dunno, I feel sanguine about yday - Mane looked in top form and we created a surprising number of chances, but were quite unlucky. In a possession game like yday, we should have been playing Keita or Ox tbh which is unfortunate
On to Bournemouth now. If there was ever a home game you wanted to get out of a slump it was this game. Need a convincing performance before Atletico. Will probably be usual team with Ox taking Hendo spot.

Definitely not the given we all seem to think it is.
I appreciate it's an opposition well suited for us to play, but we have looked so disjointed I don't see this as an easy three points at all.
We'll smash Bournemouth I reckon.
