Emotional. Only Prem and World Champions now.

On to Newcastle now. Spurs need to be on it from the off, no more slow starts.

So who said this, bearing in mind Spurs scored after 5 mins last night.....

Spurs been a bit of a strange one so far this season. Dreadful against Everton opening day, dreadful against Saints for one half and then unstoppable in the other half, while look to have made good signings.

Hard to predict how they will do this season.

Jose will get grumpy and suck the life out of them, don't worry

Hes a man child with an emotional black hole in his chest

They'll be meh, mourinho will make sure if it. Also think Bale will cause a problem for them

"I can't wait to see this lad up and running, his like a cross between Ronaldo and Messi except his a Left back."

Guess the board I found this on. 2 points if you can guess the player.

Liverpool won’t push Shaqiri out in the absence of an acceptable bid and Origi is now likely to stay.

Hope we make a real go of the cups now we have some quality depth in virtually every position.

Really want the FA cup seeing as it's our longest drought.

Excellent news. Gives us excellent squad depth. Shaqiri looked quality last night and that's exactly what we need to compete on all fronts.

So bored of going out of the domestic cups in the early rounds because we don't have the squad depth for it.

Jones using either foot, Jota does too, Minamino pressing like crazy, Lijnders called Jota a pressing monster too.

Klopp building a 2nd string capable of heavy metal football, new lb looked good too, some great pressing last night Jones n Elliott getting stuck in following minaminos lead too.

might be the way, might not play often but get them used to it together and when we have to use them could be very exciting them flying out the blocks relentless pressing.

Add in Keita and some others vs Arsenal in the cup some very good pressers n comfortable players on the ball either foot.

Adrian made some top saves last night, was dodgy at that corner though. Issue is defence, but maybe matip n gomez are back for Arsenal in the cup? Neco clearly needs coaching on his defensive game.

shout out to shaq too played in mf 3 and looked good doing it. Grujic also played well. Rhys Williams didnt have a bad game but nothing stood out, not even any physical attributes.

funnily enough Ings would fit in well with minamino and jota, Origi had one of his usual performances when starting a game.

Said it last night my midfield rank is:

Thiago
Hendo
Fab
Wij
Jones
Keita
Milner
Ox
Gruijic

Jones could be a regular starter next season. Just needs to improve on his defensive side.

Be great to have a youth striker to come through. Thought that may be Duncan (who may move to Derby on loan apparently). Brewster rumours continue.

As much as i love Origi for what hes done and he can stay by all means, be useful from the bench. If we can get some good money for him and get in someone more suited to our style then we should.

if we can recoup most of that 35m for ox would probably be for the best too.

minamino 7m looked a steal at the time and hes seems to be settling in nicely learning the system etc under Klopp. Another signing like that would be welcome.

I'm not a huge fan of Origin technically but he's a top lad. I think he needs to play every week, he's just one of those that needs to get up to speed. Incredible big game record though.

I thought Minamino was the highlight last night, absolute drive and determination, his energy in the press and link up play showing he's capable of that firmino role.

Jones and Grujic were also great in midfield and should push for roles in there aswell.

Origi really is an enigma. Scores some incredible goals and often at big moments but all round general play massively lets him down.

A player I just can't seem to make my mind up on which is rare, happy with whatever happens to him or whatever he decides to do. Looks like he's staying and I'm fine with that. Unsure how much gametime he will have but he will be useful.

Have we registered the squad yet? Can't have surely?

posted on 25/9/20

how much would you be happy with for letting Origi go without an instant replacement?

posted on 25/9/20

looks more likely Brewster will be sold, tied Origi down to long contract not long ago, still only 25 but unlikely his stock will rise any higher than it is now even in this climate? 20-30m?

I wouldn't be happy, but not sad either.

As a club we do more business than most in January. Clubs will have planned to have fans back by then, quite possible they won't though and I reckon they'll be some amazing deals to be had. Happy to wait basically.
