Yeah they probably have one more season after this before they start to slow down a bit so may be the time to cash in. Extemly difficult to replace but Mbappe is as close as it gets and solves a long term problem.

Just think that Mbappe is the type of generational player that very rarely comes up for a sale, it’s too good an opportunity to turn down. Kind of like Thiago but even more so in this case he suits the profile signing of the club perfectly.

Will be interesting to see what happens with Firmino, still think he is the one most likely to move on first out of the mainstay front three.

Mbappe played wide with Moise Kean as the striker against Man United in both games. Firmino would be a perfect link player for him. I was not impressed with Mbappe in tight spaces.
There is a reason they play him wide for France and PSG.

He'd be the one that would be most obvious i just think salah and mane would probably be more open to it/actively push it even.

Firmino is the one out of the three that would put up with less game time imo, so I’m not sure he would be the first to go.

I thought he showed some lovely footwork in tight spaces multiple times in the match, he’s technically excellent. Obviously he is most effective on the counter running at teams. In full flow, he takes your breath away, absolutely ridiculous pace and acceleration.

I compared him with the fat Ronaldo, Romario and Rivaldo who were excellent in those tight spaces. He is not bad but I think he has room for improvement there.

They play Giroud for the France team for a reason.
Even chouto moting played there in that position for PSG.

But having said that he would be a perfect player for us with his pace, runs and off the ball movement which is our style of play in the wide areas.

Luckily I realised Villa weren’t playing this weekend so transferred Grealish for Jota. No doubt he’ll do nothing against his old team now, that’s if he even plays....

On Villa, they seem to have managed to avoid any kind of fixture congestion, they hardly seem to play
