Better news is that a couple of the twitter guys say that Thiago is back out running now, aiming to build up fitness before returning to contact training.

So without any setbacks still on track for a new year return I'd expect, although he might need a few more days after.

Please don't give us false hope again

at this rate we need some new signings in january. Hopefully other clubs do too and theres interest in our players cause wont happen unless we can raise some funds.

Elliott wide would be like the days of Cout wide. Doesnt exactly have the pace but a skillful player that can hurt teams.

Seems to be out wide for Blackburn from what i can tell on clips ive seen? which probably has our input on it? David Silva is another one who played out wide before getting that free advanced playmaker role, can see Elliott going down a similar route.

Can’t believe Jota is going to be out so long, thought it was going to be like a week?? 😒

Hasn't looked the player he once was for a good couple of years now but obviously his football has been limited. He will struggle against Son today.

Sorry if Jota is actually out for 2 months then that is entirely on Klopp I'm afraid.

I was annoyed when I saw the lineup midweek, just didn't need to risk any players when we're so down to the bare bones anyway.

He keeps whining about fixture congestion and that was his chance to rest everybody.

He wanted to keep some momentum going, and it’s pointless throwing 11 youngsters into a game and them getting stuffed, they would learn absolutely nothing. Let them learn from senior players and it will help them in the long term. Bigger picture stuff.

Jota hadn’t played many minutes before that game, maybe he actually needed to play to improve his fitness. The staff at the club know far more about these things then any of us.

You can't blame Klopp for playing the reserve striker against Migitland. If today we were playing the CL final the front 3 would have been the 3 we are used to so in the none important games he was right to play Jota. That's just moaning for the sake of moaning.

It really isn't, Jota has been the bright spark of our offence this season, Salah has been excellent but I think Jota has been better than Mane or Firmino personally.

It doesn't matter. He didn't play much against Wolves so needed to play midweek. Unlucky Injury.

Think it will be like this all season unfortunately. Injuries will mean the fit group will be overworked, particularly over this Christmas period, which leads to further injuries. It might alleviate at times in the season but we will likely always have 4-5 sidelined minimum.
