How big is the difference though when we have only Phillips, Williams and Fabinho as our CB’s for the rest of the season. I’d argue not much.

The loss of Matip is huge for me. Hopefully we will cope like we have with other injuries but it’s a big ask.

Robbo is our on defender with pace and to rest him is mad. We don't play till Monday again and after Southampton we have FA cup and the possible 2 week football circuit break.

Most likely picked up a knock or strain in training lol

Sounds like Thiago might be on the bench

Robbo could well be in the red zone. It would be criminal to play him with our luck with injuries and lack of cover at LB

Man United have Spurs, Chelsea, City, Arsenal and Leeds away in the second half of the season. Enough games to drop points there. I think City will win it if they get their attacking patern back again.

6 points separate the top 8. None can be ruled out of a title challenge at this point. As is frequently mentioned, it’s a mental season, rules seem to be getting made up as they go along, some crowds, no crowds, maybe a circuit break, injuries everywhere, penalties given out like sweeties......
