This is probably the first time that Klopp has ever gone public about transfer frustrations so it’s certainly interesting. Even playing Hendo at CB in recent weeks hasnt got the message through to the owners it seems.
We all know the situation with covid but these are pretty extreme circumstances with our centre back situation. Seems they aren’t even willing to get creative like last summer with the structure of payments of any deal.
If we suffer the greater financial blow of no champions league, they cannot put that on Klopp now.
It’s poor that they are unwilling to back our best manager in a generation in his time of need.
It only really makes sense if they've already earmarked a £50m+ CB for the summer, but even so can't believe we can't get someone on loan.
I cant see anyone other than Klopp working with a limited transfer budget and be successful.
The players who have came here wouldn't be here if it wasnt for Klopp. A manager like him makes a big impact whether players sign or not.
Remember when we had Brendan and we couldn't sign our top targets because they went to Chelsea or City. Virgil would have gone to City if Brendan was the manager.
I'm extremely disappointed with the owners.
They've decided to save some money in the short term, by taking a ridiculous risk in the long term. If we continue our poor form and God forbid fall out of the top four, it will be on them.
Not backing our genius manager who has delivered so much under tight financial restrictions (in comparison to our rivals) is frustrating.
Jurgen is making it known he wanted to address what's happened to our defence and has been allowed to do it. We'll f... you FSG.

Was wondering why we were getting so many videos of Van Dijk even though he is months away. I will give FSG credit their propaganda is only rivalled by that of North Korea.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I said same thing the other day. Hours before Burnley game they release videos of VVD and Gomez in the gym. We should not even be contemplating rushing two players from career threatening injuries.
FSG propaganda has previous when they tried to dupe us that Karius was concussed because they didn't want to pay the money for Alisson.
That whole Karius episode was hilarious to be fair.
What sticks out in the memory was when we played someone like Tranmere in preseason who had a Liverpool fan in their team. He scores after another Karius howler and instead of celebrating just runs up to Karius and shouted ‘you’re facking shiitt’
Good times, think we signed Alisson a few days after.
Maybe if we happen to make a big defensive fack up against United it might help Klopp's case.
We spend what we have or when we can forecast future cash income. This has ALWAYS been the case. Don't see how people still get frustrated by this.

When our manager says to the media that it is not his decision not to address a potential l season defining situation, it could be construed that he is either trying to push the owners to do what's necessary, venting his frustration, or making the fans aware this has got nothing to do with him.
Given what Klopp has achieved I believe that the owners owe him the opportunity to save the season, by bringing in a CB, which could rebalance the team. I know January is a difficult month to do business, but I guarantee that there are a number of players who are better option than Rhys William's and Nat Phillips. Even a relative stop gap would improve the situation.
The club needs to act imo. There is stil time to do so.

Deadline day "we almost signed Varane"
We need to bring a defender in if we want to finish in the top 4. Williams and Phillips are championship players. FSG have to act or risk the chance of finishing outside the top 4 which brings less money in.
Villa have agreed a fee of 18m euro for a Marseille player.
