Henderson Fabinho Thiago will probably see the best out of Thiago but I still wouldn't be hugely surprised to see him sold in the summer if we need cash to improve the squad.

We need 3 or 4 players to really move on and compete again next year.

Good weekend for us. We need to match Leicester’s result at Old Toilet and then win the others. Reckon that will be enough. Can we do it.

If Leicester win at OT then it is over for us

Not impossible they lose to Chelsea and draw with Spurs after that. We could get to 67 points and pip them on GD. But that would actually require us scoring a few goals.

Not really. If they lose one and draw one and we end up level with them, we'll be ahead of them on goal difference anyhow.

We couldn't have taken the 3 points, not sure where it's come from. Took 5 seconds to look into and see it was only a possible option if United were found guilty of wrong doing in terms of security or other things. They weren't, therefore, we couldn't have got them.

Bit mad that they weren’t tbh. I’d say there was a pretty big lapse of security, or at least the planning of it. It’s not as if those responsible for risk management weren’t alive to the possibility of some form of fan action, especially considering the profile of that particular game.

Apparently we didnt ask. The FAs rules do state if a match is unable to be played due to a clubs supporters they can be made to forfeit.

Im wondering if FSG thought fans would be annoyed at not getting to play United, given the ESL fallout days earlier.

It will come down to the last game for top 4. I reckon the teams that finish 3rd and 4th will end up on 69 and 68 points respectively.

Not exact but likely. We'll have won three games and lost one, meaning at least +2(assuming no big defeat which is unlikely) but you'd assume more than that considering our fixtures.

Leicester will have drawn one, no change and then lost one, at least -1(which again you might assume is more considering their fixtures).

It is highly like that if Leicester draw one and lose on and we win three and lose one, we'll have the better goal difference.

Maybe just accept that top 4 is gone...it will be easier.

Depends who you're calling deadwood and whether we're looking to ship a load out, considering who's available. Personally I'd lose Shaqiri, as we have both Wilson and Elliot who I think would offer as much as he does but would prefer Elliott on loan again, to get him another full season.

I'd lose Origi as he just doesn't offer much.

Possibly Matip, as he can't even operate as back up as he is injured too often.

Various assorted youth.

So yeah, over £100m.

I don't accept things because they're easier.

We're in a great position considering where we were. Win four games and we're top four, unless Leicester pull out some form in three difficult games.

I actually think Leicester will still make the top 4. They will beat Spurs on the last day and I wouldn't be surprised if they got something against United as well.

That leaves Leicester with 67, meaning 10 points, minimum, are required along with wins that bolster the GD to be better than Leicester's. I just can't see that happening with the indifferent form shown since Christmas.

Yeah i expect they will make it too. I’d make the likelihood as currently 70% Leicester, then 15% each for us and West Ham.

Our form is half decent. One loss in nine isnt it? Could have quite easily won every game too.

I wouldn't be surprised to see that either, although I still think they will pick up a win in one of those games at least.

I'd be surprised if West Ham didn't win their 3 last 3 games considering their opponents as well.
