If he doesn't seize the opportunity now that Wijnaldum is gone then there's really no future for him at the club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He doesn't deserve another opportunity, the Madrid debacle was the last chance. Embarrassed Klopp in the biggest game of the season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Slightly ott from titty here.
I'd blame Klopp more than Keita for that performance, clearly he wasn't fit for that game, although he's never fit tbf

We won't ever see the best of him unless he plays consistently. Oh well you can't get them all right I guess

Keita just needs to go.

I felt a bit sorry for Keita with the whole Madrid debacle. That was just a ridiculous selection from Klopp that should have never happened in the first place. Going into a game of that intensity with no minutes under his belt was just crazy.

Can only judge him over his full three years here as a whole and he’s not contributed anywhere near enough. Just a very poor signing. Unfortunately we gave him a contract and are seemingly stuck with the dud.

Best thing about it was benching Thiago for those games as he was excellent after then.

Let's not forget Keita was also benched at half time in the Villa game debacle where he was shocking. He's just not that good. Get rid.

Well not really, Thiago and the team was already in very good form going into that Madrid first leg, we had 3 games in a row before that scoring 6 and conceding 0. All of which since had come from moving Fabinho into midfield and playing him next to Thiago.

It really was an incredibly bizarre decision to drop him from Klopp, but whatever, even the best make mistakes I guess.

Yeah, that was definitely an error by Klopp imo. It’s one of those things that ends up being a master stroke or a calamity. As has been said, Keita wasn’t even close to being match fit, it was obvious. Klopp picking him based on a few training sessions was a huge gamble that didn’t pay off.

This is why I'll miss Origi when he goes, king of the dramatic last minute goal, so many of these are from him!

This is brilliant

One man in his time really does play many parts, it seems, according to an Argentine newsreader who mixed up the author William Shakespeare with the first man to receive a Pfizer jab.

Canal 26 presenter Noelia Novillo announced that "one of the most important writers in the English language - for me the master" had died.

In fact it was his namesake, William "Bill" Shakespeare, 81, who died in a hospital in England earlier this week.

Shakespeare "The Bard" died in 1616

However, that was news to Novillo who told her audience on Thursday: "We've got news that has stunned all of us given the greatness of this man. We're talking about William Shakespeare and his death. We'll let you know how and why it happened."

He’s given us some amazing moments so the fans will always remember him fondly.

I just really hope that he realises the best thing for his career is to move on this summer though. We need to improve our bench options and he needs to play regularly. He’s not good enough bench option for us but that doesn’t mean he’s not going to be a success as a regular starter elsewhere.

If that means us accepting a slightly lower fee to facilitate it to happens then so beit, I think he’s earned that.

Wij was just as terrible as Keita but seems to always escape criticism from that game. It's like how Lovren escapes criticism from the Europa final and everyone solely holds Moreno responsible.

Wij was absolutely pants for 90mins. Him and Mane.

Realistically what better player than Origi do you think would be happy to sit on the bench?

We wouldn’t buy a player to ‘sit on the bench’, it applies to Origi because he’s not good enough to start games. We get someone who is capable of rotating with the forward line so that no one is overused and they all stay relatively fresh. Someone like Jota.

Agree entirely. But I wouldn't have interpreted that from 'bench options' which certainly wouldn't describe Jota.

That’s my point though, we shouldn’t be looking for bench options. City don’t operate that way which is why they’re able to maintain a challenge in all competitions. If we want to move to the next level then we need to be thinking along the same lines.

Apparently we have had talks with Hakan Çalhanoğlu from Milan. Is he any good. Never stood out when I have seen him but that is not much.

Bosman signing.

Hope to god we don't sign this player.

I really couldn't be bothered having to type Hakan Çalhanoğlu all the time

Bit like the abuse Moreno got for a goal we conceede against arsenal,

Broke on the counter so he motors forward only for lallana to do a fackin stupid pirouette on the ball, lose it and they play it out to the now free right winger who was moments before eating Moreno's dust.

That's one goal I've always found it bizarre he's blamed for.
