I'd assume that just because the floor isn't manned, that theres probably someone having to do something, such as monitor security cams to cover liabilities.

If it was me, I’d check anywhere I wanted to go on xmas day was open, I wouldn’t just assume on this of all days.

But I guess it’s just a generation thing, some people just have to have their hand held all the time and are used to having everything done for them. Not to mention the ridiculous complaints culture that exists now, it’s a version of an adult tantrum.

To be fair if you're selling point is that you're open 24/7 no matter what then every closure must be communicated in advance. There's people who want to do gym work on Christmas or whatever day they want and they pay money for a gym that says they're always open to make that possible.

You go the extra mile to find a gym you can go to at anytime because that's what you want to pay for. In that situation then it being Christmas is no excuse to close without communicating the same to your customers.

Blanket text of opening for the gym you consider your “home” gym would have been fine.

I can use any gym in the country 24/7 that’s the premise I was sold it. It wasn’t just myself either. If you read through the tweet timeline there were people asking if such locations were open and not getting a response back for a day or two.

Dunno what your problem is term - first of all you assumed I wanted people to work on Christmas Day, when Puregym literally exists in an unmanned environment from 9pm to 6:30am anyway.

Oh and the facking knobeads didn’t have any trouble blanket messaging everyone on the 17th Dec that memberships costs will be increasing..

Nor asking for reviews / star ratings or “how was your gym visit”

In fact they’ve sent me one for the day it wasn’t open! The code you put in to access the place triggers a “how was your gym visit”

Planks.. don’t get me wrong I love the gym for its absolute flexibility, but was annoyed to find it closed on 25th without any info.

Fack it, it’s done, went yesterday and will go again today. I’ll use all the “empathy” to bang on an extra km and and an extra weight.
