Yep. I said we should have sold him after we won the league. Got laughed at a bit for that. And Trent in midfield (although didn't see this inverted role coming, which I enjoy watching a lot).

Tbf he’s just a pace player, doesn’t really contribute much else.

We need a left sided CB more than a right sided one...but I also agree that relying on Konate to play 2-3 games a week is a massive risk

Tend to agree, and I like the look of Van de Ven.

Would mean we have flexibility to play a standard 4 (Robbo and Trent) or the inverted Trent back 4 depending on the match. Would be nice to have some tactical variation, 4-3-3 has served us perfectly for years with small variations here and there, but we rarely seem to have a plan B besides going for 4 upfront when we're chasing a game.

Also, I wish we put in a bid for Saka a year or two ago

No chance now. He's just going to get better and better. His height reminds me of Sterling breaking-through and they both have that deceptive strength on the ball, but Saka's finishing is already far better than Sterlings has ever been

Must say a midfield of Trent—-Rice—-Bellingham looks extremely good on paper for England. Whether Southgate actually goes with that for Euro 2024 is another question.
