I'm really excited to see what kind of tactics we use next.

Trent's free role had Emery scrambling...and he's a pretty good tactician

Last year we were always scrambling down to injuries affecting the whole team. Lots to be positive about this season, and I'm particularly excited to see how we use Gravenberch

Last season I felt Klopp was found wanting a bit tactically. Think you may have said the same??

But he's absolutely pocketed Howe and Emery so far and his adjustments when down to ten men each time has been first class too.

Four Four Two did a really good video on YouTube on Klopp's tactical tweaks versus Newcastle which allowed us to wrestle back control of the midfield with the subs. Would highly recommend, especially as the guy doing the analysis is a Geordie.

I'm a big fan of trying to crack down on berating of refs. It just makes a hard job even harder and players know that, it's an intentional pressure levy.

That said, what VVD said seemed relatively mild in terms of language. It didn't look particularly aggressive to me.

What isn't really defendable is the failure to leave the pitch when dismissed. Maybe he was thinking VAR would save him and he was stalling for time but you can't hang around on the pitch if you've been sent off. You've never been allowed to do that.

Yes refs have been doing great this season with the new rules punishing any criticism of the mini Hitlers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe you're right. In fact a couple of people in my team really aren't doing their job well at the moment, think I might go and scream in their face and call them cvnts, see if it helps.

I'll take a look. Love that kind of stuff.

I saw that. It was really good.

Taking off Tonali was a massive mistake

I also think a big part of the Newcastle result is down to Howe's lack of response to our changes. Apparently having no plan B is something Bournemouth fans used to get annoyed about when he was there.

I'm betting this is Howe's last season at Newcastle.

He's getting dumped out of Europe and a job

Yeah, they've had a tough start and a rotten CL draw, maybe he'll turn it around but I think his race is run. Interesting to see whether they go for a big name replacement or go for more of a project manager type.

Probably as hard a start as you can get really but he's not passing the tests so far and rarely did last season either, including the final.

think he should have won moty over pep, who won the league exactly as was expected

Hard to see Newcastle getting out their CL group to be honest. Will be a really entertaining one to watch though which is good as usually the group stages are pretty boring.

Yeah as a neutral the groups can be pretty boring

Enzo Fernandez could be seriously considering an early exit from #Chelsea if his situation in the team does not improve, as the level of football has been below expectations.

On 7 years to go Enzo lad.
