How crap was Nunez? He needs to be como off the bench perhaps. Gakpo was better and tried to make things happen.

Not sure Gakpo was much better tbh and that’s one of our biggest problems at the moment, all our attackers are in a bad run of form.

Gakpo just picked up the ball, ran in circles and hit tame shots into the keeper. Also missed a sitter in injury time. He was just as bad.

Needing to win game and putting Curtis Jones as left wing needs explaining too

Exaggeration. He was better than Nunez. What you call running around in circles and hitting tame shots at the keeper is trying to make things happen. Nunez should try taking a shot instead of having he ball bounce off his backside when it's easier to shoot.

Yeah some fingers need pointing at Klopp for today. He can’t do too much about strikers not being able to string two passes together but he clearly didn’t know how to improve things.

Not really but I was right as usual.

Said in summer we should have bit off the Saudi's hands when they were reportedly interested. I said I'd take 10m for him and nearly everyone on here was dismissive and sheet. I said I'm always right and time will prove it.

Mamba is right though, that's 10 games without a goal for him now and i've lost count of the number of sitters that have been missed across those games alone.

Jota’s issue is fitness. When he’s fit he doesn’t let us down often.

Nunez is just running out of excuses. He’s got flashes of brilliance that I think fooled a lot of us into thinking he’d a quality player but when the chips are down he’s just terrible.

Salah’s age showed as well in the last moments of the game when he was outpaced by Dalot. Nobody used to outpace him but he’s lost that lightning speed

We don't play to the strengths of Nunez. Play wingers who can go on the outside and cross the ball instead of inverted wingers. Tsimikas is too slow on the overlap and on the other side we had Szoboszlai but his crossing was awful. I can't wait to have a combination of Thiago and Mac Allister to speed up our buildup play. The CBs were passing it to each other which allowed Man United to stay compact. We needed a player there who could make line breaking passes.

More like 20/21 for me. Scraped through on results until the new year and then it went pear shaped after that. Had a dire 0-0 home draw with United around then too.

That's disappointing. Gravenberch has looked decent. In stark contrast Szlob has looked poor in recent weeks. I want Klopp to bench him and Nunez but that now looks less likely with Graven out.

Frustrating day. Harvey Elliot deserves a run in the team ahead of Szlob, who's form has fallen off a cliff after a fantastic start

Still only one point off the top with no-one really looking like the form team.
