Gotta love how Quansah had just walked into the first team when needed and looks seamlessly the part.
Same with Bradley. He has genuine game intelligence with regards to when to push and when to hold. If he fills out he’ll be a proper asset.
Early days but I don’t see anything in Bobby Clarke yet. Need to see more.

Joey is undroppable right now.
I expect Trent to slot back into right back but as a left back it is Joey over the rest. Especially against Chelsea and Arsenal being right footed he can eat up Saka and Palmer/Madu. He's just as quick and is more physical than them. He won't get to roam as much with Trent inverting but he will cover for that and make it a back 3 when needed.
Quansah has been one of my favourite things about this season so far.
Normally the idea of throwing a 20 year old CB in for as many games as he has would have me on edge, but he looks like he's been playing for years.
He's not the quickest but his positioning makes up for it...and it will only get better with age

Don't think he is slow either. Quicker than Matip, Nat and Rhys.
I recall saying last season that if Gomez confidence wasn't completely drained he would be a good option for the LCB role should we continue with Trent inverting.
It's no longer just Trent inverting...but the entire team basically bends to his will on the pitch. Especially against the opposition that just sit back and try to hit us on the counter.
There were plenty of moments last night where our back 3 was VVQ, VVD and Gomez. Bradley then positioned himself higher up on the right hand side and Elliott moved infield or closer to Nunez.
Since Ancelotti called us out on being predictable we've been flirting with this fluidity but obviously it never really worked out...sometimes we try to be too fluid.
There's like 3 structures we shift through most of the time now...all depending on where Trent sees himself getting the most on the ball.
I know robbos back but i really hope gomez retains the role, just seems outright better suited for how we play now
If Robbie comes in it’ll be because he’s earned it I feel, plus Gomez has played a lot of football lately.
It’s a great position to be in either way.
I like the idea of having a CB at left back if Trent isn’t going to be an orthodox right back. I feel our balance has been better with an in form Gomez than it was with Robbo or Kostas.
Gomez has been a revelation this season and good on the lad.
Yeah I’m not against it at all and apparently we’re still in for Colwill.

I like him a lot. I wouldn’t put much stock in the form of any player under Poch myself.
There are a lot of talented players at Chelsea but nobody who can get a tune out of them.
He had a great season at Brighton, hasn’t performed under Poch.
I’m not sure Chelsea do have a lot of talent either. There’s about 6 players who are actually any good.
The rest just come with big price tags having done absolutely nothing in the game.
Gomez has been great but does need a rest.
Would start Robbo v Norwich
There's some potential...some that had 1 or 2 good seasons under their belt.

He is not a 70m player which is what Chelsea will want. He signed a death row contract so has many years left on it.
With Quansah and Bradley emerging we don't need to worry about home grown so much so want us to continue to unearth gems in the market.
The best option would be to target their academy players because they need pure profits to beat FFP.
So not surprised we're still throwing our bones at Colwill...won't be surprised if we try to cut a deal for Chalobah too
James and Chigwell who are both crocks.
I like Enzo but he needs to do more, ditto Caicedo.
Sterling is Sterling.
Palmer can play and I like Colwill.
After that? Meh

Quansah's progress is mad. Did OK at Bristol Rovers last season in League One but feels like he came out of nowhere. On the other hand, Koumetio who looked like a beast at 17 has floundered on a couple of loans now and will likely never make it.
