Maybe I’m being harsh but it seems remiss to me.

Salah I can understand somewhat as there's always been talk about him leaving but VVD and Trent should have been immediately sorted last summer when they got the captaincy roles.

I thought giving them the captaincy roles was like a negotiating tactic tbh

Could have been player driven tbf.

If it’s player driven, don’t let them get down to a year (in fact less than that) imo.

Let's not forget Madrids new tactic is to make players run down there contract so they can take them on a free. Look at Rudiger, Mbappe and this Yoro guy. Trent could he next.

Don't know how many have been watching the inside training videos but Slot definitely seems to be focusing on the physical side and seems like they're trying to toughen us up a bit more.

Were we ever really in for Yoro? I've not been following transfer stories closely but I saw a couple of vague links but nothing substantial - it always seemed to be RM as first choice but Utd with money on the table.
