Yeah it’s quite incredible how Romano has built his career really. He’s still a grifter, the list of transfers he has got wrong is quite funny and he also deletes tweets so is a bit of a rat.

I think it will be a busy 10 days or so now.

It's the people that actually believe Romano that's the problem

But I guess some people will believe anything as long as it is what they want to hear

Thing is, you quote social media and people like Romano but your conclusion is pointing fingers at the club. It's like you can't separate the two for some reason, conflating social media grifters with the club's position. This demonstrates the dangers of social media.

There is club PR. Every club does it. Some of it is obvious while some of it is pretty clever how the manipulate fans. For that they need journalists to buy into it and they will be rewarded for the loyalty.

I googled the 3 of them though and David Lynch does indeed say we can expect a busy August. The other two, not really.

Pearce has a couple of quotes saying the opposite, that it's not going to be a busy summer and stressing the quality already at the club. Although you'd probably consider that PR.

Romano, just bags and bags of nonsense. I don't doubt the guy gets a few things right - it's almost inevitable given the amount of content he pumps out.

I think we’ll get one, maybe two in the door but I’d be shocked with any more. I actually really like the Mamardashvili deal and hope we can future proof a little more like that, wouldn’t count that as an incoming for this window though as we absolutely need some fresh faces in the team this year.

I can see 1/2 first team signings like a 6 and maybe Gordon, and then 1/2 younger players for the future like the keeper and that young Argentinian left back we've been linked with.
