Chelsea are one extreme and we are the opposite side of extreme.

I actually thought Chelsea were gonna do well this season with the new players having a season under their belts and picking up form towards the end of last season. However of they're just going to continue collecting players who then also need time it's probably going to be the same deal this season.

Got to admire Atletico's work, had to fork out £81m to sign Alvarez so just milked £35m out of Chelsea for a player that has yet to play a game for them.

I watched Samu or whatever his name is yesterday against Morocco in the Olympics and his second touch was a tackle. He looked like a rugby player the way he was running and tackling players.

So another crap signing for Chelsea then.

Spurs seriously pursuing a move for Dom Solanke it seems- reported £65m release clause.

We have a 20% sell on fee. Another one for the FSG accountants on here.

That is a quite awful transfer for Spurs. Lovely stuff.

The striker cupboard is pretty bare tbf, hence that mad price. Ricarlison obviously wasn’t the answer to Kane leaving so they have to try again.

I mean Solanke could maintain last years strike rate but I doubt it, plus he thrives on crosses and isolating the full back, and Ange doesn’t play like that.

I find it weird that they’ve not gone for Toney if they’re spending that much too but I don’t rate Solanke’s technique really, and think he may struggle, but we’ll see.

I thought 65/5 was 13m.
