Sigh. It was all going so well ffs.

We made sure we announced Carvalho exit before leaking the Zubi news

No signings. Completely wasted valuable time in the window chasing yet another unobtainable DM and rumours are they they don't want to sign a DM alternative. FFS even Endo has said we need another one . Factor in that three of our star players are out of contract, this is becoming an embarrassment.

Don't think you can blame Hughes if he got told Zubimendi wanted the move. Can only go off someone's word.

Is there a relegation fighting 30 year DM available anywhere?

It’s a shame but I’m not going to skate them for trying to sign players that are better than we have, otherwise we end up with players like Amrabat.

Stiller is available and he isn't bad on the ball. There are options in the market. Gravenberch can do a job there but isn't a long-term solution.

We've wanted to sign a DM for two to three years.

I can think of a plethora of players who would be better then Endo. Endo was being basically pushed out the door yesterday.

Yeah it’s not that I disagree, apparently there are other targets, so let’s hope they get one. Not sure there’s a plethora, they seem very thin on the ground to me, but the window has been diabolical so far, there’s no getting away from that.

Even if it's not a 6 they definitely need to pull their finger out and get 2/3 signings over the line now.

Can't just buy that GK.

I’d feel better if we’d got our captain, vice captain or best player on an extension, but they’ve not even done that.
