12:30 is not the problem per say...it's 12:30 after a midweek game or 12:30 after an international break.

I mean there's pros & cons to it. In terms of player preparation and player conditioning we obviously get short handed if it's after a Weds or Thursday game or if it's after an international break.

Pros is obviously we're guaranteed to be on TV with one other team...our game, at that time, is probably the only one showing on TV across European football too. I can guarantee it's not just our fans & whichever opposition fans watching that game.

I wouldn't be as annoyed if we actually had home games at that time but we almost never do.

I think it's something stupid like only 3 of the past 18 have been at Anfield, which is definitely influenced by TNT hoping there's an upset for rating purposes.

or if our rivals played the same number, we are lucky they can only put us in it 6 times max apparently, or any team. we're probably the only one to play all 6 though.

I'm actually not that bothered. Usually it is away fixtures to midtable teams. Easier to play the likes of Palace etc at 12:30 when the atmosphere is dead, rather than under the lights when it is more intense.

Its just the short turn around that is annoying.

Szob saying that 12:30pm is basically still morning did make me laugh though, you can tell he's in his early 20s.

I think it was always in the pipeline and Klopp has probably served his notice period to start in Jan. Pep took all the coaching staff with him to Salzberg.

I though I'd read previously that BT/TNT like us in that slot because we have a big fanbase in Asia and that timeslot works well for that market

Yeah you get quite a bit more.

50% split equally
25% on final league position
25% Based on the number of television appearances, with a minimum amount called facility fees

I imagine our sponsors also pay more too, but not sure on that.
