Sort of looking forward to a harder test to gauge where the team is at. My feeling is we're ready to go for the league this season but at the same time, we've been shaky in a lot of games even if our underlying stats have been very good

I was in Spain and just felt something was going to happen, strangely I was quietly confident going, even at 3-0 down from the first leg. I believe it was shortly after the Kompany goal all but won the league for City as I remember watching that one in my hotel room.

Anyhow watched it in the hotel bar with a load of English people watching. All wanting a Barca win, laughing and joking as the match began. That soon stopped and I may have rubbed it in their faces when that fourth went in.

Don't know if he'd have ever made it but think part of the problem is Rodgers would hardly ever play him, even when we were cruising.

The 5-1 v Arsenal for example he only subbed him on in the 86th minute.

Incredibly hard to adapt to a new league in the first place, never mind if you're not even trusted to play 30 minutes in a game that was already won in the first half.

Yeah I was thinking that earlier, I wonder how Aspas would have done under Klopp rather than Rodgers.
