Yeah, they’re ruthlessly efficient aren’t they? I just think we’ve gotten away with a fair bit, which isn’t a complaint as it’s to be expected under our circumstances.

Great pass to Gakpo for the goal. Thought he did OK, tired late on and started to struggle with Mateta's physicality so it was a good sub from Slot.

Yeah for Arsenal game Ali presence in corners he won't get pushed about but Kelleher is untested in that area and Arsenal will look to try and expose him.

We have had 30 corners in the last 2 games and only scores from 1. Ben white missing is a major reason for that

Not too concerned about corners anyhow. We have VVD and Konate.

My first concern will be how we deal with a top pressing team. There were some worrying signs in pre season all perhaps you can't look into that too much. So far we've only really faced a good press from Bologna and despite a spell of pressure we dealt with it well.

Second concern is the tweak to the system whereby we're much more patient, taking less risks in possession and holding the ball. We did this more in Klopp's Last couple of seasons granted but we switched it when up against the better teams to beat their press. Not sure we can play the same game against the likes of Arsenal and City, although I'm sure there's a plan for that, if it does turn out to be an issue.

I expect to lose to Arsenal but it doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things.

More the fact that he has a free reign at right back should he choose Madrid. Carvajal at 33 is going to struggle to get back from a ACL.

Be made if real end up with trent and davies for free next summer

Would be pretty easy to get at if they had both TAA and Davies starting at full back. Both excellent going forward and although decent in defence, having both starting would leave their centre backs with a lot to do.

Bayern currently start Laimer at right back who is probably better as a DM but certainly a defensive player. Of course Liverpool start with Robertson who is also good defensively.

Would live to see it though, they'd be devastating going forward and it would be exciting with the gaps they leave. Although perhaps not as that would mean we've lost TAA

No guarantee Madrid will want TAA, is there?

There's even less of a guarantee that TAA actually wants to leave
