Then you clearly have zero idea what you’re talking about.
Data analytics is widely used in injury avoidance and prediction. That’s just one example and I could give many more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah OK thanks for that.
On a serious note, yes - that's what I was getting at. People put injuries down to medical teams when in fact injuries are mostly the product of game management, bad luck and they type of player, how susceptible they are etc.
There won't be much of a difference to the avoidance of injuries, within the control of the medical teams between most of the PL clubs.
Ox, matip & Konate were injury prone players before we bought them though...then you dump high intensity double training sessions and high intensity matches...it's a recipe for disaster.
Even Henderson & Jota had their injury problems before joining us.
The point is if we're taking risks on injury prone players...you clearly don't increase their load in terms of body exertion...it just basic logic

Ah. OK I can see how that looks now.
I meant when comparing Liverpool's with Arsenal for example. There is only a small difference that can be made.
I didn't mean if we had no medical team there would be no difference ffs.
Anyways the overall point was whatever it is that Arsenal's medical team is doing in terms of conditioning & preparation...it's clearly not luck.
And buying players with good injury records should be one of the leading factors when scouting players otherwise we could always sign a team of Thiago's...and then complain about how unlucky we are with injuries but at least the football is sexy
If you replaced Liverpool's medical team with Arsenal's for example, there would be little difference if any to the injuries picked up. Ie the medical team doesn't make much of a difference.
Nat Phillips has spoken about this at length.
He suffered numerous injuries and then went on loan to Stuttgart. Their medical team assessed him and completely changed his diet and his injuries totally cleared up.
https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-defender-injury-recovery-oxlade-19625100.amp
There are numerous stories like this.
Matt Etherington kept getting hamstring injuries. Went to a specialist because West Ham’s medical team couldn’t work it out. Turned out he had a mid-aligned jaw.
Rio was suffering with his hamstrings, no-one could work it out, turned out it was because of his car seat being so low.
Data analytics using GPS is proven to help injury avoidance.
Medical teams play a HUGE part in injury prevention and avoidance and recovery.
That’s actually what they do.
I should add, some are indeed better than others, which is why they get head hunted.

I understand that and haven't stated otherwise. What I'm saying is it makes little difference as there are many top medical teams in the PL. Injuries are mostly to do with player, how you play, squad usage and a lot of luck.
Just so I'm understanding this right as people seem to be disagreeing with this and even laughing at the notion, you're saying that if we switched medical teams with Arsenal we'd have less injuries?
I don’t know, I’m not arrogant or stupid enough to guess and then say it as fact.
But some medical teams are better than others, that is for certain, and to say (twice) they don’t make much different is a mind boggling amount of horse sh!t.
"if we switched medical teams with Arsenal we'd have less injuries?"
Under Klopp & his coaching staff, probably not...but under a management team that actually listens to them, we would definitely have seen an improvement.
I mean there was that article the season before last where there were reports of Kornmayer ignoring the advice of out medical department
Nat Phillips is the one. He was under our medical team, and was literally cured under another.
