Hoping Jan at least MF will be addressed.

With Jota and Nunez summer is probably the best time to make a call on them allowing us to make some money at least on selling them rather than letting them run down the contracts. Jota has always been about injuries while Nunez is too inconsistent. There are some decent number 9 options who could be available in the summer.

Obviously if we lose Mo and VVD in summer then those become priority.

Linked to Brighton's Baleba yesterday, though that just feels like lazy paper speculation given our previous bids for Zubi and Caicedo. We do have a good relationship with Brighton apparently though, by all accounts

We will get the contracts are priority excuse in Jan no doubt

I'd be happy with all three contracts renewed and no players-in tbh.

On that note, there's a new Trent fashion billboard in Madrid that's making fans panic on Twitter

A lot of the more reliable ITKs (if there is such a thing) are not very confident about him renewing

McManaman seems confident and he's pretty close to the club.

Given how well Slot has settled in and managed the team I think he’s built up credit with the owners.

If he really wanted a new addition and made a good case I like to think the owners would back in up.

Reckon he's off solely because on paper he should be the easiest of the 3 to renew.

Salah and VVD the club will naturally have concerns about their age and whether their performances drop, leaving us stuck with over the hill players on £250/300k a week.

There will be none of these concerns over Trent, so if he's not signing it's because he doesn't want to.

Trent is gone. Disappointing but move on time

I won't give up yet. All 3 are now entitled to a signing on fee which can range from 15-20m. They are not going to give that up now for a new contract. We will have to make them a nice a offer to re sign them in the summer. We have the advantage that VVD and Mo really want to stay while Trent, this is his boyhood club.

All the complaints should go to our ownership for this debacle.

I think Trent signs. He's trying to get the best deal he can get at a crucial age, as he'll likely be signing up until he's 30.

VVD and Salah will of course come down to length of contract, considering their age but fairly sure both will also sign, as long as the club don't try offering a one year deal which I doubt.

I could still see all three staying. It would make sense that they would want to give it a few months of the new season to see how we do, if they get on with Slot etc. And there's not much they can complain about. I reckon between now and New Year things will accelerate. Depending on the club doing their bit too obviously.
