Nah I think today will just be recovery so maybe he's thinking his time will be better spent tomorrow and Saturday focused fully on the training ground

Have to disagree with that, its the one area where imo Kellehers better. Makes less mistakes on the ball and is generally very good passer. Alisson has a dodgy pass or caught dwelling on the ball most games theres always a moment with him. Feel more comfortable playing out with Kelleher myself.

Kelleher looks better under Slot with regards to risk, but everyone does, and Alisson would likely too.

Kelleher actually looked pretty ropey at times last year while Alisson has more assists than Antony.

I feel there’s more than a touch of recency bias going on tbh. Alisson is arguably the best keeper in the world and this universally agreed upon really.

Salah doesn't really have the technique required to excel in dead ball situations which is why I'm never fully confident when he takes penalties

Agree on Salah, although in high pressure penalties I do trust him when it really, really matters.

Leave Salah on penalties, it's working fine even if he misses the odd one.

Regarding Mamardashvili, the reason we've signed him is he's probably the best goalkeeping talent in the world and younger than Kelleher too.

But Alisson is much better than both, and will start every game he's fit (cup games aside) until he leaves the club.

From the current players I still say Kane has best technique in a penalty situation. Almost always hits the side netting

Still remember Fabinho's first penalty for us was a miss after reading about his perfect record before then
