Arne Slot will do his pre-match press conference today at 3pm rather than the usual Friday morning slot.
Last time a Liverpool manager did a Thursday presser was Jurgen Klopp in January. He announced his exit the next morning.
That will not be happening here.

Wonder if this means anything regarding contracts

I reckon he's planning a massive p*ss-up tonight and doesn't want to do the presser on a hangover.

Nah I think today will just be recovery so maybe he's thinking his time will be better spent tomorrow and Saturday focused fully on the training ground

He’s still better with his feet
________
Have to disagree with that, its the one area where imo Kellehers better. Makes less mistakes on the ball and is generally very good passer. Alisson has a dodgy pass or caught dwelling on the ball most games theres always a moment with him. Feel more comfortable playing out with Kelleher myself.

Kelleher looks better under Slot with regards to risk, but everyone does, and Alisson would likely too.
Kelleher actually looked pretty ropey at times last year while Alisson has more assists than Antony.
I feel there’s more than a touch of recency bias going on tbh. Alisson is arguably the best keeper in the world and this universally agreed upon really.

Is it time to discuss Salah penalty technique again? wtf was that Can laugh as it didnt cost us but jeez. When we have AMA 12-1, Szob 19-1, Nunez 12-1. We persist with 44-11 salah, misses 1 in 4.

Messi has missed the most penalties in history. Always a good bit of trivia that.
posted 2 hours, 44 minutes ago
Have to say despite scoring so many I never feel calm when Salah takes them. Feels like a bit of a coin flip due to his technique of just smashing them instead of feeling comfortable.
Would deffo give them Mac from now on but can't see it changing.

Gerrard had a similar record not far off but a bit better, 46-9. Milner 30-5, fabinho 24-2, murphy 30-1.

Yeah this one I could never get because Messi is actually class in dead ball situations.
Salah doesn't really have the technique required to excel in dead ball situations which is why I'm never fully confident when he takes penalties

Murphys pens were class tbf
fowler 32-4, owen 18-5.

Ronaldo is second too.
Agree on Salah, although in high pressure penalties I do trust him when it really, really matters.
I doubt they’ll be taking him off them though tbh. Cost me my acca last night too.

Leave Salah on penalties, it's working fine even if he misses the odd one.
Regarding Mamardashvili, the reason we've signed him is he's probably the best goalkeeping talent in the world and younger than Kelleher too.
But Alisson is much better than both, and will start every game he's fit (cup games aside) until he leaves the club.

From the current players I still say Kane has best technique in a penalty situation. Almost always hits the side netting
