great game last night from us.
This type of game is why we want to be in euope so instead of being like arsenal melts od utd manic depressives can we not say hey lets rise to the challenge.
not like certain spurs teams who basically used their white shirts as white flags and sent reserves.
this competition only gets good when the dross gets knocked out so we are still in but the muck of utd and spurs got sent packing.

Turning attention to the weekend...
there are some big games,
Arsenal v Everton
Chelsea v West Ham
Man U v Man C
Liverpool v Southampton
We will of course still have a game or two in hand over some teams after the weekend, but the table could look very different monday morning
Don't know whether I want Utd to win or not.
I'll go and wash my mouth out now
I'll break out my usual response of mass brawl and points deducted

I can't see Arsenal getting anything at Everton.
They will buzzing after the Chelsea win and I expect Lukaku to beat them up.
Can't really see City not winning at home but they are so hit and miss I suppose you have to give Utd some chance of getting something.
Chelsea V West Ham very hard to predict.
Same as us at Southampton really.
Saints are in decent form and it's a tough place, but we have done well there the last few visits and are in form ourselves. We need to win but I'm going score draw.
Yeah some interesting games this weekend. I think we can win at Saints, in good form and we have done very well there recently.
I agree with you re the bitters beating Arsenal, the latter are in wretched form and they've struggled there recent seasons.
Chelsea-west ham draw for me- West Ham playing well but they never win there and Chelsea haven't lost in the league since hiddink arrived.
City to beat United (obviously), Spurs to beat Bournemouth (obviously) but think Palace will get a result at home to Leicester tomorrow.
I fancy Bournemouth for a point actually. Might have Arsenal, us, Mancs and Spurs for four draws. 5er will pay!!
Bournemouth in good form and Spurs is a free hit for them with safety pretty much guaranteed.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Bournemouth get something.
Spurs get more space to play away from home. They have regularly struggled to break down teams at home.
Anyone who's playing villa = win!

Poor Everton. Sounds like he's got one foot out the door. The moment a CL club comes in for him he's gone.
That was bound to happen.
He's far too good to be sat in mid-table.
Arsenal or Utd will buy him if they have any sense. They don't though, so he will probably go abroad.
It's ok, they've got Kone!
Not many 22 year olds about with 120 career goals and 42 caps.
I'd love it if we sold Benteke and brought Lukaku (I know it won't happen).
He's one of the best young forwards in world football.
Crazy from Chelsea to let him go, given the struggles they have had with strikers.
Just watching Schalke against Gladbach.
I know we have been linked with Xhaka, but his midfield teammate Mahmoud Dahoud looks like a hell of a player. Only 20, looks like he has the lot.
No doubt everyone will be watching him.
Agree about Lukaku.
The guy is a brilliant player, far too good to be playing for Everton, and should be playing CL.
Who would buy him? United won't be in the CL so not them, Chelsea likewise and he wouldn't go back there anyway. City- possible if they can shift Bony out, but he doesn't strike me as a Pep type of player. Spurs- would Levy shell out £60m on a back up striker, highly doubt it.
I think he is good enough for Real Madrid but not sure they will want him. My money is on Atletico, they will need a new one in the summer and he would compliment them well.
