Another player for Ilori to slate

Not sure if I am getting caught up in silly season or not but have seen many articles tonight about how this is such a special game for Agger tomorrow against Brondby.

I know Brondby were his old club but after the last season and a half I think his days could be marked.

Great player in his day. I thought he was our most composed centre back since Sami. He has been subject to much crititism recently and has made a few errors. His partnership with Skrtel has not been that great last season.

If BR brings in Lovren or another I think he will play with Sakho and Skrtel maybe the bench player.

Also Aspas is on loan but the deal is set in stone that he is guaranteed to be made permanent next summer. Aspas will not be returning to Liverpool, and the Merseyside club believe they will recoup most of the £7  million they paid Celta Vigo thanks to the terms of his La Liga return.

I'm with you T Bone. Agger had so much potential and still has a lot of positives to his game, but he just hasn't progressed possibly due to injuries hampering him. Had high hopes that he would be the perfect defender for Rodgers style but his weaknesses continue to be exposed. It's telling that someone like Skrtel has been able to adapt his game to suit our passing out from the back when it seemed certain that aggers style would've prevailed over his. Much as I like the guy and love the upside of his game, unless he is happy being at best 3rd choice then I would understand if he wanted to move on

anyway saying something about a transfer fee doesnt mean you hate the player or bot rate him, its just a talking point on this site, can anybody here they havent joked at one point saying, fellaini 27mil ozil 42mil just to annoy the fans

everyone laughed at spurs for spending loads of money then flopping, so people do care about fees more than theyd like to admit, but we wont flop because we actually have a plan with rodgers
