So Hearts was expected, Rangers wasn't too bad but Celtic's was woeful?

Even without your username it wouldn't be hard to fathom who you support.

It was 3 bad results. 5-0 defeat at home is not to be expected regardless of who you play.

Rangers are supposed to have this "gelled" team that have been winning trophies for 3 years now but you think an away goal and blaming the temperature is ok?

Celtic dominated the game but done hee haw in the final third down to some very poor tactics and players not playing to their best. No Excuses.
Thankfully they have no away goal.

The only game I didn't see was Rangers so can't comment on their performance.

But I wholeheartedly agree with it being depressing all round. We need both Celtic and Rangers in the Group Stages to match the co-eff points we lose next season from your UEFA Cup run.

My thoughts exactly.

Hearts were the major dissappointment.
McCoist says he would still have been gutted with a draw so he obviously fancies it.
Celtic, without 4 first teamers by all accounts controlled the game,so there is a slight hope the return leg may see a better effort.

Rangers look best placed to go through.
Good article(imo).

Bhoymurney - where did I say Celtic were woeful...your seeing things that aren't there. I clearly say it's hard to say which was the worst result.

The simple fact is that the only, solitary, positive to emerge from the three games last night is Rangers away goal. That is a FACT.

That said, it still doesn't take away from the fact they got beat by Slovenian minnows.

Get off your high horse.

Bhoy67 - i accept the SPL is shocking - didn't you read the original post properly?

Bhoy-would you have taken 2-1 away to Sion?

I would have.

All bad results. Maybe the Hearts score really was the worst one. No surprise they lost given Spurs' resources but 5-0 at home was extreme.

Bhoy67 - do you have problems reading?

READ CAREFULLY: Rangers losing to Slovenian minnows after being a goal up is very disappointing and poor. However, an away goal is a POSITIVE. There were no other positives for Scottish football last night.

a clean sheet at home is a positive as we can draw 1-1 and go through

if you draw 1-1- are you through!!

I never said that you said woeful but they way you wrote it says that celtic's is the only real bad result.

Their is no high horse. I watched Hearts and the were shocking and I watched Celtic and we dominated the game but were woeful in the final third.

I would agree that a positive would be Rangers away goal but not getting beat with it. However your away goal is along the same lines as our home clean sheet.

I still believe we will both qualify.

Also why do you keep deleting TCD? I can't say that I've ever noticed him being offensive?

Celtic logic at play here.

So you're implying Celtic (with their awful away Euro record) are in a better position to qualify than Rangers who are at home with an away goal in the bag?

Deluded. The Celtic Way.

No where did I say that? I said I believe we will both qualify!

------------------------------------------------

But you ahve to go away to get it and we're at home. Maybe there's not much between our results. Like I said, I reckon Hearts' score is the worst. If it had been 2 or 3-nil it might have been about the same as ours.

Bhoymurney.

I said they were all bad results. The opening line is, on another woeful night for SCOTTISH FITBA. You're seeing things that aint there.

As for Titanic, I delete him because he offers nothing to the debate. He's a borefest.

Isn't Rangers' biggest problems at home...especially under McCoist

celtic's away record is only shocking in group stage or further. Premiminary qualifiers it is better. Even mogga beat spartak moskow away. From what i saw of sion i don't think they have enough to beat us.

It was a woeful night for Scottish football but if I'm seeing things where do you get Celtic are in a better position to qualify from?

I'm getting the point that you meant it bad all round but it wasn't exactly written that way.

There really is no hope for you bhoy67 - Rangers are in a better position than Celtic to go through. It's a simple fact. One that your brain apparently can't compute.
