Thhat has been what I have been hearing Ginger, that said then though would mean they will also have to douple dip into their pockets again if the bulk of fans choose to simply go match by match and if it does not go well on the pitch the actual crowds will be real not as we and Rangers having been doing all season naming the tickets paid for by including season ticketholders not in attendance.

Ginger you seem to have somewhat of an insight into the mindset the folk who hold decent numbers of shares in Rangers look at things. Would putting in additional funds to simply maintain your initial holding and then possibly doing so again be an attractive option ?
Side note
I have been saying for the last month or so that the call to get shot of the board is irrelevant. Given recent activity the Easdale ( the one that has control of the proxie) is a very strange one he is basically the most powerful man as I see it involved with the club.
The fans should be concentrating their attention on him if they want straight answers as he obviously knows all the answers to their questions and has a personel presence that will be effected by such

The funniest thing in that article is that it describes the Scottish Football Monitor as being an independent source
It is the reincarnation of the Rangers Tax case blog and we know how accurate and balanced that was
SFM is also Irvine's source material as well and we know how balanced he is
Armageddon was never going to happen, plenty of reasonable fans on here said as much. What there has been is a reduction in income for a lot of sides who have taken the appropriate steps to deal with that reduction of income.
Kilmarnock have been highly fortunate that the Bank who were dealing with them just willing to write off debt.
Attendances are up where clubs have been successful. If you actually had a competitive top flight where more than one or two teams had a stranglehold then you would actually have even higher attendances and a more vibrant game.
Anyone with a brain though can see attendances in terms of bums on seat at Parkhead and Ibrox are down.
Scottish football is far from healthy, no top flight sponsor for a year is embarrassing, tied in to a re-negotiated TV deal that shafts us in terms of coverage and pays pennies, the majority of clubs unable to pay any sort of transfer fee for a player and a top flight where the champions won by 30 points ish and were only beat once all season.
We had a chance to rip the whole thing up and revolutionise our game last year but missed the opportunity due to inherent problems within our game.
I am struggling to see how much can be put into Rangers and there being a realistic option of return let alone profit from the institutional investors. You have to imagine the current situation is not the pup Green sold them.
Would I be correct the fact King being in the wings changes the admin scenario greatly. Cant imagine him letting a D&P managed scenario to occur again?
interesting points btg
I prefer to think we are better off without rangers because I really don't like them

Are any of the stats wrong?
That would be the only grounds to attack the gist of the article I would have thought.
Going by some of the responses then on the same grounds I can declare the whole Ukraine crisis is a hoax as Alex Thompson has been leading the reporting of the events apparently taking place
It's certainly no been as bad as I thought it was going to be. Champions League past 2 years has obviously been crucial though
Kenny must admit there is something very nice about the absence of vitriol that also makes what has come to pass enjoyable

RNR
Was scary going into the first season following the extinction event. That said it has become less so as time has passed. I know the realities are we are not only loosing money but are suffering also from a competitive perspective but given the shambles the expected recovery has become can we really base anything on such. Has to be a position of if it happens now rather than when and deal with the reality of the what is rather than the what might be

The rest of the league has became alot more interesting also.
So regardless of content if an article contains anything you take offence to then its a write off?
That just don't make sense mate
Have read far better articles on some of the websites who lean toward the dark side than I ever have in the MSM and while they ultimately contain the odd barb ( honestly think they cant help it on either side) don't let it colour my opinion on the points being made
That's because you don't have anyone to be vitriolic at
Maybe but still a bonus as is
