That's why Roman sucked it up and got Jose back because he knows he can't be successful without spending £200m a year so with him he can be successful by spending less, especially with your average squad.

Liverpool fans would be annoyed that the only team that beat them was charged today and convicted of straight up cheating. They were spending well beyond their limits, if i was a Liverpool fan I would be annoyed that the only PL they could ever win was robbed from them by a team that was convicted of cheating.

I think they should blame either their captain who bottled it or themselves for creating a sense of entitlement and a champions victory parade before each home game so that the players thought they'd already won it and took their eye of the ball

Well I am sorry but the fact that the Premier League Champion and the Champion of our country, our representative as our most strongest team has just been fined and sanctioned for failing too meet the criteria of clubs at the top level of football (Europe).
So they should be punished both domestically and internationally. How can one set of laws apply at a European level and not at a domestic.
Because they're different competitions with different rules. Don't see why Liverpool have anything to do with this.

Chelsea being involved with 3rd party ownership would be cheating but I'm sure a fine upstanding club like that wouldn't try and bend the rules.

I think its a good start in all honesty.
Because I take it that fine will be taken out of the city budget, and even with the PL win they will not have much money left to buy players or on wages.
I think the article says they only have £50 million to spend when before they would of had £100 Mill? It doesnt affect the billionaires as a fair but will hinder there progress to buy players?
