Arsenal, Derby, Rotherham, Gateshead, not fussed about league 2 now as York are out, wanted Grimsby or Halifax for the conference.

I dont really class ull as a yorkshire team and never really ever warmed to em so its arsenal for me with our inter club links with mr chapman

grass munchers as a local shop worker in notts calls em....derby have been the best team all season and play good attacking footie and deserve to go up

and of course the mighty millers time for em to be kings of south yorkshire...and it be nice for joe skarz n all

and finally the U,s...enjoyed my trips to the abbey over t years so it b nice to see em back n pee their local rivals posh off

Like perth here today darn...but beers cheaper

Same here, Hull aren't "proper Yorkshire" to me. I had a bad experience after one of my first away games as a kid there. Running like fook back to the car from Boothferry Park will always stick in my mind.

So come on Arsenal

Not 'proper Yorkshire' ?
Ner heard of the East Riding !
I had a bit of a flayed experience there too Hydy...73ish.

Steve Bruce connection Walt Best chap we've had in charge for a good while now.. Sabotaged from within. By folk he thought had Town's best interests at heart..

I'm going for the Humberside club in the final!

Rotherham in the playoff final, not really bothered about the others.

Rotherham are a real theonix from the flames club n had to play at the don valley for a while and I really hope they do it

12 thou int ground too and played really well against preston...up the millers

If we want their best player, do we really want Rotherham promoted ??

Hard lines Hull. very entertaining game
certainly gave the glamour club a fright.

Today.
It would seem the Cambridge United fans in particular are more than annoyed with the 'costs' of attending this final..& I can't say I blame them.
36 & 18 quid respectively to see this one !
Ridiculous.

Gateshead expect to attract 10 thou, Cam United 15 thou. Terrific support for the non-leaguers.
Looking forward to this one.
Want 'The Heed'..but think United will be too good for them.

I see Dean Hoyle has added a reported £125 million to his fortune in the last year.

Rich get richer poorer get poorer.

posted on 18/5/14

Ey he is 325 on Britain's rich list

town are second favourites for relegation next season behind millwall!

He has to speculate and at least overspend a bit next season if we are to compete

It's just our luck that now we have a really wealthy owner who could buy our way to the EPL, he ain't allowed to spend his money because of FFP

Flipping flip !

posted on 18/5/14

He is obviously investing his cash well and worth at least half a billion now
if we owned the stadium 100 percent he could sponsor the stadium and get cash into the club that way like mansour did at city

How much would Kirklees council expect for the ground if they decided to sell to him ?

posted on 18/5/14

If memory serves me well it cost just 30m when built

It's a bit of a sheite hole now, so £15 million should be a fair price!

Who's doing a World Cup thread ?

we should have a play-offs thread first...then post a World Cup one after they have finished...?

just to keep it 'bubbling'...

I'm just enjoying the fact we've had our first 'relaxing' end of season for 5 years...you can only take so much excitement
