Gareth bale - too one footed
Yaya Toure - slow, poor stamina
Under rated
Kenwyne jones
Mikel Arteta
Carroll as a newcastle player was at the time England future front man, yet a overpriced move to liverpool has changed this - Verdict - Your incorrect.
Cleverly looks a class act, only had 2 senior appearances for the Reds so too soon to rate - Verdict - Your incorrect
Scott Dann played for a relegated team last season, a team that was relagated because they couldnt score enough, not because they conceded alot. My opinion he's neither over or under rated, a solid CB
Pennant failed to make a lasting impression both for Arsenal and Liverpool, seems to have found a place at a lower premier league level (no offence is intended here) Again neither over or under rated
Thunderkiss - ill give you the stamina one for Toure - but slow? Ok he is not explosive over five yards but he is very quick when he gets going and very hard to knock off the ball - two or three times against swansea he sped past their players and carried the ball long distances.
No way is barry underrated - he is shiete
Over-rated
Bale-player of the year my ***. Not quite as big a joke as Giggs winning it 2 years back but up there. Inconsistent, one footed, hyoped up on the basis of 2 good games against a Benitez plagued Inter side
Vidic-laughable that his constant handling and cynical fouls in the area get him proclaimed the best in the world
Under-rated
Kranjcar-fine technical ability, reads the game excellently. Great little player. Sadly been frozen out of Spurs
Jermaine Pennent under-rated? LOL
Pennant looks good as the big fish in a small pond. Great for a team like Stoke but hopelessly out of his depth at a team like Arsenal or Liverpool
Leighton Baines is very under-rated. Still don;t quite get how successive England managers have continued to opt for Bridge and Warnock over him
Underrated, the zab man!
Overrated, balllotelli!
No way is barry underrated - he is shiete
He is not "shiete" just because he does not slide in like NDJ or score goals like Fabregas does not mean he is shiete.. why did Rafa want to swap him with Alonso(Yes Alonso is a better player) why has Hughes, Capello and Mancini always picked him when fit?
personally i think baines is very average - not quick, small and very one footed - he does well for everton but put him in a european or world tournament and he would look very out of place - i do agree he is better than bridge or warnock though
assou-ekkoto - i would say is quite underated. As is Hoilett at Blackburn - not saying he is a worldbeater just that he is a better player than most realise
To be fair, you really can't take any of the fat spanish waiter's transfer policies seriously
Barry to me is a jack of all trades master of none type player. Don't think there's any aspect of his game better than mediocre
Another name into the hat-Louis Saha. Absolute beast when fit. Injuries wrecked what could have been an excellent career
aquantumofsolskjaer (U7129)
Check OPTA stats for a defender only Danny Alves has more assists over the last (3 years I think) than Baines.
Pennent had off-field problems at Arsenal and Liverpool his delivery is excellent and he is skillful.
I dont rate NDJ because he "slides in" he is quicker - two footed and a better passer than barry. He has better positioning and is a close to a makele type player the premiership has at the moment.
I would take carrick over barry anyday.
Even when the guy is pumped up for a big game he is mediocure
Hmm well I will take your word for it on the assists but still Im basing my opinion on watching him play. I don't think he would make my top 3 premier league left backs
Evra, Cole, Assou-Ekkotu
Probably Enrique is ahead of him too
Stopped reading as soon as I got to Barry.
How the hell is he under rated? He is average at best.
If Bobby Manc plans on playing two up front this season, and lets face it, Tevez and Aquero will not be happy on the bench, Barry will not get many games.
Barry over carrick all day long!
Barry is a better passer than NDJ Barry got all the blame for going to the World Cup injured he is England's version to Pirlo.

It's not just running, sometimes it seems to me that Toure just isn't paying attention at all.
Under-rated:
Carrick - does important dirty work no one appreciates, hes a different player than what we signed people need to understand that.
Jaaskelainen - great goalkeeper, very loyal and one of reason bolton stayed up all those years ago. Yes he has faults but quality goalkeeper.
Brunt - was one of leading assist makers last year and already has one this year, cracking player.
Over-rated:
Carroll - hes good striker dont get me wrong, but some people claiming him the new shearer or ibrahimovic
England's version to Pirlo.
Now I know you are joking

haha ok that kind of "slow" yeah i would agree with that! it is funny watching him bent over like a pub league player knackered after 75 minutes though.
I fear Pogba may have a similar problem - might be down to genetics and lung capacity i think toure could do all the fitness work in the world but he is just so heavy built he will always have that problem

Really hoping that you don't know who Pirlo is, bashed your face into the keyboard and it hit those 5 letters randomly
Chris Brunt - good shout - young, versatile with a great strike
On the barry thing - as vidicschin has said I can see barrys game time severley decreased this year. mancini isn't going to play two holding midfielders every game and milner, Y toure or nasri will probably play their more often - even Lompany if K Toure comes back
