Arteta is turned inside out way too easily whereas Coq has better mobility and some bite, he's also adept on the ball. Again not the answer but his potential suggests he can be better than what we currently have

Not sure Flamini's the better player maybe more influential but Coquelin has more capabilities imo.

He had an awful year at Freiburg allthough I thought that Freiburg was the best club for him. As DJ said. Ship has sailed for him.

From what I understand, he's had a bad season because he's been played out of position.

I don't think he's ever going to become world-class, but as you say, he certainly has the talent to be a good squad member: homegrown, versatile, good in the air, athletic, and good technically.
I'd certainly prefer him to Arteta if we can't get a new ball-winning midfielder - although I think that should be our first priority.

Remember seeing him play vs Tottenham and thinking well, he looks good, should be given chance at DM as you had nobody there at the time. Instead I believe he got played at RB a few times and did ok then never really saw him again.

Hope he stays need him big time. Will be hard to persuade him however.

Coquelin looked good in comparison to the god awful song don't forget that, I am not the biggest fan of arteta but the difference between him and coquelin is like intergalactic travel
