Some really awful suggestions here.
I would seriously re-think your and our ambitions for the striking options...they are all either not good enough or not realistic.
Add centre back to this, we need 2 if TV leaves.
Speroni is running out his contract in a few days.
We need top quality
For RB we should go for Piszczek, de scilglio or lichsteiner
Schneiderlin at CM
Balotelli for CF
GK we should get valdes
Centre mid: I like Arteta but I've never thought of him as a gritty player. Besides, he's 32 and we need to look at future proofing.

True. I still shudder when I think about the Cup final. I lost count of how many times he was outmuscled and beaten for pace in midfield - and that was before Bruce brought on Aluko.
I think the key thing is making sure we have some balance in our midfield, because in my opinion, that's where we lost our crucial games this season. We need to bring in an organiser in midfield, somebody who will take charge and plug gaps when they appear - I understand William Carvalho has been making waves. Or maybe Gary Medel? He's likely to leave Cardiff now that they've been relegated.
A lot of people are talking about Cesc, but I'm averse to the idea. When he was here, the tendency was to play everything through him - and when he didn't show up (which was often after Barca came sniffing around), we were impotent as an attacking force. I prefer a more diverse approach to our midfield play, which I believe we have - we just need quality to support it through injury, and we need a defensive platform to make sure they have freedom to make things happen. Cesc coming back would tread on Ramsey's toes, Wilshere's toes, Ozil's toes... I just don't think it's worth it.
Inler? Gignac? Is it 2009?
^^^^ lol
Inler might be possible if recent events at Napoli are to go by, just about every week 1 of their players gets robbed.
If Cesc is brought back then I would expect no strong DM to be bought. Cesc would have to take Arteta's spot.
A rotation of Cesc, Ramsey, Flamini and Wilshere would be pretty sweet (sorry Arteta I am just thinking of the future, I love you though).

that is so true.
I love Flamini but he is simply not good enough either. DM has got to be a priority. In terms of first XI i'd say its even more important than improving Giroud. And we definitely need to improve on Giroud.

I don't agree on this, a striker is the biggest priority and I think Flamini is good enough to help win trophies!
Arteta was clearly first choice this year. Flamini is too much of a liability and adds little going forward. Again, I love him and hope he stays as part of the squad but he is already playing at the outer reaches of his level.
Top priority is a CF. Then a DM/CM.
With a decent struker that worries defenders thwy are less likely to pusg up and leave h8m space so it affects the rest of the pitch as well. A top fast CF who puts a shift in would be a big help for us defensively as well. I think some people forget to look at the whole pitch when thinking about what will improve a team most.

Is that aimed at me?
Last thing we need is an overhaul, we have very little dead wood and just need a few signings to complete the squad.
