Ivory Coast are overrated bottlers.

Play-a-maker and Honda will show them up.

In my view the African football didnt improve. Can only see the Ivorians survive their group but even that is difficult. All the other have absolute no chance in my view.

I would be surprised if any of those go beyond the group stages.

Suarez is to blame, he is the reason why none will get past the group stages.

I find it strange that a lot of people seem to be dismissing Nigeria.

Apart from Argentina who should easily win the group.

I fancy them to beat Iran and maybe even Bosnia

You guys seem to have forgotten that they actually won the ACON.

And in the Confs cup semi final against Spain, if they had a clinical striker they could have won the game.

With Emenike's return to fitness and the recall of Odemwingie, i think they have a chance of getting to the quarters.

between germany and portugal ghana will claim one scalp, i have a feeling it will be the portuguesse, people have always underrated african countries but we have teams like ghana, ivory coast and nigeria have better squads than several countries at the world cup and more talented players too.

I think Cote d'Ivore stand the best chance. Drogba is still decent plus they have Bony who is good in his own right. Yaya Toure however holds the key. I think he will be one of the players of tournament.

Nigeria should be beating Iran and Bosnia(1st and 2nd matches) then match against Argentina becomes irrelevant, as already through to knockouts.

Musa - Odemwingie - Moses
Emenike

Not bad.

You would think but they couldnt even win the ACON semi final against Burkina Faso

I think most of their players are now too old and the furthest i can see them reaching is the 2nd round

Not sure Nigeria 'should' beat Bosnia - Pjanic and Dzeko alone are more than capable of proving a handful and both are better than any Nigerian players IMO. Those two, along with a good keeper in Begovic - I feel like Bosnia are being written off a little prematurely.

Bosnia are an unknown quantity in world cups. But I agree they've a good chance of progressing when you look at the quality of some of their players.

Who have Bosnia got other than Begovic and Dzeko of good quality?
