I think you're overstressing the importance of a shirt.
We can put Giroud in a number 14 shirt. He won't ever become Henry.
Gallas got the no.10 shirt, Wenger doesn't really care about that stuff... would be nice if players were given proper numbers according to their position though.

That's why we won't give it to him. Theo getting it inspired him to an extent although he's still a long way off Titi. Jack is yet to shine in the No. 10 shirt too.

Yeah it seems players have to ask to get shirts it means quite a bit to some I'm curios to see Gibbs get it
