Yeah, no doubt Paisley.

Froch's CV cannot be compared to Groves and he is a bigger boxing star than him.

You're right about his boxing skills. Might not be the purest of boxers but he's got a good chin and stamina. That's what has got him through his career.

But he does seem like an insecure guy. Its as if he's putting on this act and then he ends up contradicting himself so many times and puts it down to being "tongue in cheek". Find it hard to like the guy. That post fight interview showed everyone what Froch really is like, so I'm surprised they expected anything different.

Finally watched this and I need to find out where I can get those 30 minutes back from. That has to be one of the most boring face to face I have seen.

Froch is a boss and is internationally respected. He has been our best fighter for going on five years now. Fighting top competition non stop and repping the uk. I think he will stop groves again. I like groves though.

Was weird, first half of the programme Groves looks confident and arrogant looked like a complete pyscho and Froch looked nervous, timid and worried and you could tell Groves was in his head, but then as it went on Groves started stuttering, hesitating and not knowing what to say whereas Froch was just laying down the line.

Gunna be good either way, think Froch clearly under estimated him in the first fight so we'll see a better Froch but Groves has definitely got the tools to beat him.

Honestly can't call it, one minute groves, one minute froch

groves looked like a dickk when he tried to be a bigman and pull froch towards him then for froch to do the same

just think its a bit cheap lots of froch "fans" turned sides cos of something the ref was to blame for.

and did these guys not realise froch was a bit of a p!rck before the first fight? to hate on him now just seems daft
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think anyone whose into boxing didnt just dislike froch for the ref stopping, its the bitterness and delusion he was spouting out after the bout.
George is a really calm guy outside of boxing, im sure froch is too but take the whole wembley walk for instance, george went with a couple people, froch bought bodyguard, his whole family and pushed george. All seems a bit up himself, bitter and deluded to a lot of people recently.

The hate froch gets is ridiculous. Which recent British fighters have a better record than him?

Taylor, Direll, Abraham, Johnson, Kessler x2, Ward, Bute. How many of those fights were abroad too? The only Brit I can think of in the last 20 years with a better resume than that is Lewis. So what if he is a bit arrogant?

No one is questioning his record.

To be honest of late the more annoying behaviour has been coming from Groves while Froch has remained calm since the early press conference shove.

Groves is beginning to sound like a broken record by continually repeating the same questions and putting in snide remarks to anything Froch has to say.

They just need to fight now and stop talking.

Nickalopodis,

I’ve watched the fight back about 10 times since and every time I see that stoppage again I’m shocked.

It looks a worse decision each time I see it!

I watched the repeat too the other night, outrageous decision that cost Groves the fight. How Froch has the cheek to claim he won ‘fair and square’ is embarrassing. Boxers talking it generally tedious but don’t buy in to Froch’s acting, he got rattled the first time by his own admission and he was the one trying it on, backfired big time. He’s trying a different approach and it’s working against him yet again, he’s desperately trying to cover it up. It was exhausting watching him trying to act so calm.

I watched the stoppage too the other night. I was outraged when it first happened but watching it back now I can maybe see where Foster was coming from. George was getting tagged a lot in that 9th round but then again I think, that was the first time Froch really laid into Groves and the ref stopped the fight. Then you see Froch's post fight interview talking about how he's a man of his word and how he wanted to have it out with Groves after the fight and tell him "mano e mano" what he thought of him ( He's such a patronising prik by the way) and then the anger comes back

If Groves thought there was any danger the ref would stop the fight he could’ve taken an eight count, perhaps with more experience he’d do that but just because a fighter is taking a few big shots is no reason to stop the fight, Froch is powerful when he unleashes like that but there was nothing to suggest Groves couldn’t clear his head from that and carry on where he left off, it was the only time in the fight to that point Groves wasn’t in complete control, the ref seemed all to eager to let Froch off the hook for me. Froch also hit after being told to break on three occasions, one time going in with the forearm, he should’ve lost a point for that.
