in fm 11 my bayern team was unreal
neuer
lahm hummels jones badstuber
spraggon(regenrated player(]
schweini kroos
muller ribery
kadlec(slavia prague)
hes always injured! at least you can't say fm is unrealistic!!! and thomas muller is unreal on the game on 12 bayern are even better
I'll definitely be having a go as Bayern on FM12, they're team looks brilliant and they have a great backbone, Neuer, Lahm, Schweinsteiger (Robben or Ribery) and Gomez! Plus they also have players like Gustavo, Badstuber and Rafinha!
kroos and muller too as well as dale jennings
Going to have to ween myself off of obsessively profiting. Sign player on free, sell for monies after a season. Done it with some world class talent as well that probably should have kept, Kroos, Paloschi, Pjanic etc. Pretty sure I've made PSG a powerhouse purely through selling.
What year are you in Bunsen? I try to do that, but being me I'm absolutely awful. One save I'll be more financially prudent and see where it leads me.
On FM2011 I'm in 2018 currently with Arsenal (have 2012, but this save is so good). Kept the wages at 1.4m a week but have a 4.5m budget for them. By saying I made PSG a powerhouse, I meant I didn't realise until too late I'd sold them all these great players, they're one of the few great sides left. 1.2b value, debt clear. I find the trick is to never spread payment for players, offer signing on fees over wages etc. It's the first time I've managed it tbh, but the last long term save, the debt really came back to hurt me a few seasons later. Other teams are paying 200k a week for players, they want more than 90k they're off for me, Sissoko went for 45m to City for being a greedy so and so wages wise.
I tried to do that with Everton, but it's really hard because their wage budget is so small so you can't make a profit each month. Saving 3.1m a week on wages must really increase your balance each week (on interest).
with newcastle in fm11 you were skint at the original start but when the jan patch came in your got 23million and i bought neymar and he scored 36 in 37 in his first season
I love Neymar on FIFA (I know they're different games but you can sort of relate) he's quick, skilful and scores a lot, what more could you want from him

I think I might try managing Pakistan
lads on FM12 steam is there some kind of pin so you cant share
I am pretty obsessed with money... I do usually go smaller clubs and work my way up so it does need a bit of care and attention though it does lead to the odd regret..
As an example I ended up with Liam Rosenier (sp?) in my champions league winning squad because he was on a free... and someone offered twice what my back up full back was worth (they can both play both sides, essential for the bench) I ended up selling him after a year for a good £3 Million (roughly)
Another example was about 5-6 years in (FM 10) had a player who was the best in the world, stats mostly better than Ronaldo's or Messi's. He was on 60K a week and was one of my top earners (same save as Roseneir purchase)
Once you make the big time you can generally afford to offer lower wages than competitors and still get the player... though I did miss out on Ozil to fulham (sugar daddie, same save again) there was no way I was paying him 2-3 times as much as the worlds best player... although at first as a small team you have to offer decent wages... I do try and bring that down for bonuses and a big signing on fee though...(no yearly wage rises either!)
I also missed out on buying Sakho as I though 20+ Million was a bit steep for him... for years in the game after that I regretted it as he was the only great young defender available (there where others but not as good) and Sevilla wanted £40 Million for the guy... my previous record was along the lines of £18 Million... and the next nearest after that probably around £15 Million..
Even with all that there was a contribution required from the Chairman to build the new stadium....
Which they named after me!!!
Has that happened to anyone else... I was really shocked when it happened I had done really well with the club but I didn't think anything like that would be in the game...
Alright guys, I know this is the big FM thread but I thought I'd create a thread for all the crazy and unusual things that people have witnessed over their years of playing Champ/FM.
I know most people will be talking about the new FM on here so I didn't want to detract from that.

Please feel free to share your crazy old FM stories.
My team was awesome. Was athletico Madrid and my starting XI was (no cheating as well)
Aguero - Balotelli
Mata-Raul Garcia-Pastore-
Bale-Chielleni- Kompany (I think)- Santon
Ochoa
On the bench I had, GDS, Torres, Camacho, N'Koulou, Welbeck and a couple of comp gen guys.
My team was so good that I won every game by at least 3-0
(repost)
Anyone remember Johann Rickets on 03 or something? Became world class.
On 09 some real random people became world class, GDS, Scott Brown and Bojan (who became best in the world)
