Nah imma stay with 2010 (only been playing it for a month and a half) for a good 2 years I think, managing different clubs etc

Well I have been playing 2011 for something like 3 months and in my 11/12th season with United, will run down my contract and then sign for a French team.

Wow

I'm balancing my free time between FIFA 12 and FM really

I don't have FIFA12, prolly wouldn't get it until Christmas....and tbh I prefer FM more...I add challenges for myself, I am currently trying to build a squad of all English players...so far I have 6 1st teamers in my squad, have been trying to get Rodwell for ages but he never seems interested;(

I just got sacked as manager of Tottenham, finished 2nd in the first season and got sacked by November in the second season

ohhhhhhhh unlucky

Right now I'm making a lot of very young signings who have all got at least 2.5* potential from reports, and got rid of all the players who clearly won't ever make the grade

You just give them free transfers or do you offer some contracts and loan them out to at least get some funds back?

I try to offer them to clubs

if no-one's interested, then at a cut price. If not that, then loan them out

and if no-one's still interested then I just loan them to my feeder club, although I still have to pay their wages

Luckily other teams were interested in 1.5-2* players like Mancienne and Mellis

What I also do sometimes is promote them to my 1st team, give them at least 10 games, raise their valuation and then sell...trying to cut down my 1st team squad though....I think I have 30+players.

Back to back Champions League titles with Palermo. Won 9 league titles in ten seasons. Pastore is God.

Yeah I have a few too many players in my squad as well

City offered me 22M for a 28 year old Joe Cole and I was greedy and wanted 25, then they pulled out!

In January I'll try selling him to them for 22

posted on 9/10/11

I always offer my players contracts, some 0.5/1 star players become 2/2.5 star players by the time their 24 so get some decent cash for them plus loaning fees covers a lot. I always demand half their value when loaning players out, make over 10 million from loaning out youngsters.

I've never tried the loan fee idea. Does it actually work?

Do you mean that even players with 0,5* potential can become that good?
even if they do, I'd rather not hinder the progress of 17 year olds who have 3* potential

and usually nobody wants to get any of my rubbish youngsters on loan

posted on 9/10/11

There's only Juan (U11118)

Well I remember A.Madrid offered Palermo just under 50m for him and within 2 seasons Valencia got bought out buy some rich people and bought him for 99m!

CSTP - #10000 (U1453)

From time to time, sometimes you wouldn't get the full loan fee but you'll get a piece of it.

What I usually do to is bring up my 3+ star youngsters to my 1st team, that is why I have so many players, in fact my youngest 1st teamer was 15 yrs 9 seasons ago, i try to integrate them as soon as possible, and it also helps get them loan offers from higher quality clubs.

Strongest XI

Cech
Srna Carvalho Terry Cole
Hamsik Essien Lampard
Di Maria Drogba Zhirkov

2nd XI
Turnbull
Bosingwa Ivanovic Kjaer/Otamendi Bertrand*
Sissokho Mikel Kroos
J. Cole Dzeko Hazard

*or I can just use Zhirkov/Bosingwa
others: Lukaku, Bojan, Vidal, M'Vila and then a load of youngsters

BK this is the second season of 2010, so start of 2010/11 season

Hazard is only a teenager
Plus he prefers playing AM so I'm currently training him as a RW. At the moment he's not too strong out wide, his potential ability is very good tho

posted on 9/10/11

I had Hazard in my game....bid for him at the beginning and he chose Madrid...then a season later he wanted out and I got him for 17m, sold him the next season to Dortmund for 20m because I got Mata and C.Ronaldo and then Chelsea bought him for 40+m what I usually do also when I sell my youngsters is put a 40% transfer fee clause so that when they sell on I get a decent amount in addition to the initial price.
