The Football League Cup (currently known as the Capital One Cup) is England's second major cup competition, and is contested by the 92 Premier League and Football League clubs.
--
Excuse, it's no more Capital one cup, it's called Coca-Cola cup.
If you don't know, Johnstone's Paint Trophy is also called a league trophy, in which 48 clubs participate. Are you going to say this is also a major trophy in football?

Just thinking of age............................Pirlo is 36, Klose 36.....................................Soldado is just 29..........and still within his peak years.
--
By the age of 29, Pirlo and Klose were already world class players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They are still defending soldado When pirlo was his age then he was dominating the world cup and was part of a truely great AC milan club side
What a total joke.
As for the trophies thing. Stop living in the past. You blew your future last summer. Accept it and move on
They laugh at Liverpool fans for bringing in trophies discussion, in fact, they won more and bigger trophies than Spurs in their history.
Spurs fans irony...
TBlock you do realise you support QPR right?
A question for <deluded> Spurs fans.
How many trophies you are expecting BIG CLUB Spurs to win in this season? Or, at least how many major finals?
It's a simple question, i believe.
I have a question too. If a club can only get 6th when spending £110m, how do they expect to do when they don't spend £110m

Now you are showing your stupidity.........................
The Johnstones Paint Trophy is competed for by teams in League 1 & 2.....................................poor attempt muffinboy!
As for the other numbty, try being at least sensible for part of the time, I know you will find it difficult, but try anyway!
Nobody knows which teams are going to win what in the coming season, there are some like Chelsea & City who should win at least one trophy. Others like us hope we compete and win something.
One thing I can say is that we will finish higher than both WHU & QPR in the PL. That is a given!
I tried sensible with you guys and all I get is the same tired arguments over and over mate
You could argue the league cup isn't a major trophy for the last 10+ years because the big clubs don't put out proper teams in it.

Was this one of them?
You could argue the league cup isn't a major trophy for the last 10+ years because the big clubs don't put out proper teams in it.
It doesn't matter how it is treated by the City's & Chelsea's of this World. It is how it is viewed by the FA & plus the fact it is a route into Europe.
Try thinking before you post, all you do is try & rubbish us, you never give an in depth view of your own team & how they propose to survive the coming season do you? Mind you neither does muffinboy!
I said, Johnstones Paint Trophy is called a league cup. Try to read properly before jump on the bandwagon.
It is a Trophy played for by teams in League 1 & 2 and is therefore a minority trophy.
The Football League Cup is competed for by ALL TEAMS within the Football League and the Premier League.
Only an idiot would try comparing these two & saying they are the same. Wait a minute, its muffinboy saying it, so I am right!
By the way nowhere can I find the Johnstones Trophy being called a league cup!
One thing I can say is that we will finish higher than both WHU & QPR in the PL. That is a given!

Well, what happened to this "given right" 5 seasons back when West Ham finished above Spurs?
No wonder you get wummed by every football fan in this country for this kind of deluded and arrogant behaviour..

wtf does 5 seasons ago have to do with this season you pikey mug
So you finish above us once in the last 10 years, I would think that points to a level of consistency on our part, or a level of inconsistency on West Ham's part!
Either way it adds weight to my argument!
And who said "given right"? I said given...............

We will survive by being hard to beat at home and having a solid defence and something going forward. That is the plan at least. It all depends on this summer. If we can get some good loan signings then we should be more than fine. If we by more has beens then we could be in trouble.
However the fact remains that we achieved all our objectives last season. Last season was a fantastic success for us. That is a reality mate Whereas you spent £110m and still went backwards at an alarming rate.
yet you and Chronic seem to be mocking QPR all the time when we hit our aims Job done for us mate. And we are now back with you in the premier league. We are your peers and I dont fear your team in the slightest. Most clubs trying to make their way in this league look at games like spurs as a chance to pick up points. You are not the big club you make yourselves out to be
