Maybe, just maybe he learned something this time..

It takes a special level of retárdedness to come out with such inane drivel as this.
Actually.....if he don't name and shame them....he's just gonna come across as a bitter mischievous caaaant.
Could there be legal issues regarding naming them?
Almost certainly yes Sir Robert, the player's agents and PFA would be all over him.. he's trying to keep a loud on the can of worms to be fair.
Of course. He would have had a call from the lawyers reminding him he has signed a non disclosure agreement and that just by bringing Spurs name into it he could be on the nasty end of a costly lawsuit. The man is either incredibly naïve or just plain dumb.
Harry simply confirmed what everybody thought about England friendlies. During a World Cup is probably the wrong time to do it, but England's body language speaks for itself.
Our players don't want it as much as other nations, they don't have the same pride or willingness to be a part of a team.
Gerrard is one of the worse culprits.
The reaction to this
What Redknapp is saying is blatantly true.
He doesn't need to single out players to embarrass them.
He is making a point about the culture amongst modern players, in general.
Its probably gerrards fault he is loved by the media despite being a below average footballer. A diving oenalty merchant who never won a game fairly, was never an athletic player or a good captain and leader.
If Gerrard had not played for media darlings Liverpool he would have only won half the caps
The reaction to this is probably in light of the fact we've just failed at the world cup.
If we'd just beaten San Marino 6-0 everyone would've just laughed it off. We all know it happens but Harry's timing for self promotion is great, I'll give him that.

Then he should shave said that. after all is Spurs the only club that he has managed that had internationals? Maybe we were? But I thought he signed all these triffic lads. great trainers and family men. So why complain when they want to stay with their families?
Gerrard's response to that would be intriguing. He might have really been injured, but is this not the same man who pulled out of a friendly against Holland in August 2009 because he "felt a slight soreness in his groin," as per The Guardian? The one who was fine to play and score in Liverpool's Premier League season-opening 2-1 loss to Spurs five days later?
I normally stick up for Harry and his right to an opinion but i think this time he has overstepped the mark. I dont mind him generalising and saying what we all know (that players who know they will make the squad for a competitive game go missing for midweek friendlies) but he shouldnt have been so specific about players who trusted him.
Its wrong on the player side but he shouldnt have put the focus on any current or ex-Spurs players who clearly said what they did in confidence.
Fair enough Chicken
At least he realised he'd overstepped the mark and refused to be drawn on names.. he does make a good point about England players' attitudes, shame he felt the need to include us in his comments though.
Mauricio's
I wish he hadnt mentioned our club and just left it as though he knew this kind of thing happened - as Venables has also now come and and said. Its nothing we didnt know but he should have just generalised it - not made it (our) club specific.
