With Ronaldo probably going home i hope Suarez and Uruguay stay in

Suarez has managed two seasons at the same level as the other two.

If he can do that in a CL season then he joins them at the top....if not

No.

Needs a solid season in CL and break the most goals scored in PL in one season to come close to comparison. Don't forget that both Messi and Ronaldo have been the top two for last 6/7 years. Suarez before last season was just about in top 5 strikers.

Don't think he's on the same level, but he's certainly moving closer.

2nd tier with Aguero.

To be honest, he's not that close. He hit 31 goals in 37 appearances last season, his best ever campaign(in the big leagues).

Ronaldo got 51 in 47, which brought his Madrid tally to a staggering 252 goals in 246 games. Suarez has to perform better than he did for a good 5 seasons to reach that level of consistency

Suarez has done it for 1 season where he played once per week. Lets see if he can perform playing 2-3 times in a week in different competitions.

No doubt hes a world class player though.

i'd think given his finishing that if he is given more games in a season he would actually improve his goal ratio. I expect Aguero to up his game next season as well if he stays healthy

Frankie..........................Last summer I did an article on here saying that if Arsenal did indeed get a bid for Suarez accepted then we should match it.

The response I got from a lot on here was "he's a detestable little and I don't want him anywhere near our club".

My argument then, as it still is now. So he's not a nice guy? I couldn't give a flying feck. Being nice is not a pre requisite for me. My question was would Suarez improve our team, for me it was YES so I wanted him at Chelsea.

No. But he is arguably at the forefront of the group of players just below them.

Those Ronaldo figures, although hugely impressive, don't take into account the dross that he plays against in the lower parts of la liga. I think he also takes penalties, and virtually every free kick.
Soldado came to this country with impressive goalscoring stats from that league, and we saw how that panned out for him in comparison to the premier league.
If, and when he finally does go to Spain, hell score hatfulls of goals, and in my opinion is easily up their with the other two, although for me, at his best, Messi is still the outstanding performer in world football.

No he's not, but he's comfortably the third best player in the world. Long way off Messi & Ronaldo occupying 1st and 2nd but way in front of Neymar whose 4th.

Neymar 4th?

I'd say so, with Aguero 5th

Nope. Not at all. His goals to game is worse than the other two, people might argue its because they player in weaker or leagues or have service, however Saurez played with a Liverpool team which was built to attack around Saurez, just like Ronaldo and Messi. Its true the opposition are lesser, but the vast majority or goals scored by Saurez was against lesser opposition, whilst in the bigger games, he did not perform to his best. Ronaldo and Messi score in huge games, against big opposition. Their goal records in Europe speaks for its self.

We will have to wait till how Saurez performs in the champions league until a more realistic comparison can be made.

Suarez has scored two seasons at the same level as the other 2? How? Lol.
No cl football. Served a ridiculous suspension and hasn't had a goal to game ratio? Ridiculous. Suarez is good. Probably level with robben and ibra for 3rd in the world. But nowhere near messi n Ronaldo

People underrate the teams within Spain. They are less tactically strong, but do have very good players playing for the lower league teams, look at Michu for instance. Also look at some of the imports from the league: Mata, Silva, Carzola, Yaya Toure, Jevas Navas, Negredo. From the list only Yaya came from Barca, and the others came from other good teams within la liga outside Barca and Real. There are good teams in the league, they just can't compete with the big two (or three now) for a good reason that Atletico, Real and Barca are incredible clubs. If either of those teams came into the premier league, they would likely to dominate the league.

Needs a far better club than Liverpool to fully realise his potential. Their perennial averageness since he signed for them (barring one season which still ended potless) is holding him back. He reminds me of LeTissier at Southampton, except this particular player actually wants to leave and better himself. As incredulous the Scousers are about the sheer mention of him wanting to leave, he does, and has done for a couple of seasons now. His potential will only be realised when not playing in a team with the likes if Flanagan and Henderson.

If Suarez really wanted to leave he should just stop signing new contracts

DONT mention ronaldo in the same breath as those other two.
Ronaldo is good at tricks and goal scrounging, nothing more. Personal glory is all he cares about, not a team player, and on the big stage.. a total bottler!! Reminds me of Rooney actualy, only interested when there's a free kick, penalty or a tap in. Selfish ego maniac with a few 'tricks' and a pathetic media going over the top at every touch. I would drop both of 'em - off a cliff.

I think he's a brilliant player.

So good in fact that based on all factors such as age, PL experience etc I would probably have him at Chelsea ahead of either Messi or Ronaldo.

All of the teams in the premier league have garbage defences it's probably easier to score in the premier league than la liga
