the problem with england. they always find a way to put goo players in the end. like gary ballance hasnt played odi cricket for a long time and he manages to get in the team and play at 3/4?
you wonder if they just like play rock paper scissors to decide the batting line up.
Taylor survives LBW but is Anderson run out?
No because the ball is dead once given out by the Umpire
Anderson run out. Unlucky Taylor
You surely can't have a player given out then when reviewed its not out appeal for another decision because the umpires original decision was not out so the ball should be dead
No problem with the result, best team won. But that end is ridiculous. If the umpire has given out, of course it's a dead ball. Let's face it, you wouldn't risk pulling a hamstring on the run if you thought the game was basically over.
Pathetic.
Thats a ridiculous rule! Denied Taylor a century there.
As Swann just said, you can only review when the ball goes dead.
Agree kav, pathetic umpiring. Taylor robbed of a well deserved century.
What a steaming pile of crap to wake up to
You mean the ball is only dead once you review. Thats ludicrous - so effectively a batsman has to wait to be given out then when not out on review can still be adjudged to be out by another form of dismissal when that wasn't the original review. Poor in my opinion.
Predictable result and performance, glad I slept instead
Once it's dead then you can review the example of this is a run out when the ball hits the stumps and the ball runs a way for 4. Then the umpire then signals to go to the third umpire.
Mr dar and Mr dharmasena get it wrong again
Like it made a difference. Aus were always going to win this game.
Anderson just announced his retirement. Broad going home, he broke a fingernail,

Boycott is hilarious as well as being very irritating I'd imagine from an England players' perspective.
I agree but just giving an explanation.
Geoffrey on fine form as usual.
Surely with the rules as they are, if a player is given out lbw, the two players meet in the middle to confer about a possible review, then either player can be run out?
Poor umpiring, but obviously doesn't change the result. England can never take the advantage when they have the opposition in a dodgy place. At 70/3 Australia should never have got 340+ and our batting is just a joke. Morgan suffering from captain syndrome.
So poor.
Agnew just said things can only get better
Just wait until the Afghanistan match
